Before starting college, I took a strengths profiler assessment and the consistent result was that my strongest asset was in being an entrepreneur.  After graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs, I tested this theory by accepting a couple of corporate sales and training positions.  While the training and experience I received was invaluable, ultimately I found that those environments, with the associated structure and limitations, stifled my creativity and independent nature. 

 

During this time, I became interested in personal development.  I participated in seminars to support my own personal growth which provided me with the awareness that I had the power to create my own experience.  I trained to become a coach for a leadership group where the majority of people were business owners who found my coaching to be instrumental by enhancing their internal systems, communication with their team and overall results.  As a result of this experience, I found that I had a natural instinct and passion for coaching and chose to make a career out of it. 

 

I graduated from Coach U, one of the premier coach training programs and started my own business as a business development coach.  Since that time, I have coached more than 850 independent business professionals.  The focus of my coaching has been on supporting business owners by assisting them in creating personal and corporate brands, and providing invaluable input as they have planned for growth.

 

I help business owners attract new clients by articulating their value and promoting it to the right audience. Most business owners know how to maintain their existing business, but they struggle to get new business. Since 1994, I have worked with business owners to define their specialization and create a marketing plan to position themselves for ongoing success. I coach clients to understand that specialization can bring ideal clients. When you are crystal clear about your specialization - what you do and who you do it for - you are poised to compete in a crowded professional marketplace.

 

As a business development expert, I have assisted hundreds of clients in defining their specialty, so that they can attract the best clients. I work with them to create a plan that gives them specific direction to reach their goals.

 

I am a positive, focused, individual who is dedicated to helping my clients consider new paths that will lead toward their financial and career goals.
