15 Minutes of Fame
In my years of being committed to my own personal and spiritual growth, I have noticed how I continually attract people, clients and situations that allow me to let go parts of my programming that are not working for me and are ready to be shed. I am now more boldly stepping into embracing this wonderful way the Universe is assisting me in my journey.I am in the process of developing my Entrepreneur Prosperity Program. The intention is to redefine prosperity and to attract Enough Energy, Enough $, Enough Time into my life and into the lives of everyone who comes into contact with this work. So it’s ironic that I don’t feel like I have enough time to get the program developed and launched. I feel prosperous in terms of money and energy and yet I don’t feel prosperous because I am experiencing such scarcity of time. I feel so inspired to debug myself of all of my conditioning around time. I am retooling my schedule, recommitting to self care, doing my own Wavemaker coaching around it, writing about the subject, experimenting and reworking the structure of my business and my coaching practice. I am once again my own best guinea pig. Stay tuned to next Coach Talks for results of these experiments.
Bill Baren Coaching on TV
Last August, a couple of my clients and I filmed a segment for a show on the Fine Living Network. It should come as no surprise, given the theme of time in my life, that the show is called What’s Your Time Worth? My episode is debuting this Saturday morning, April 14th at 8 a.m. PST and 11 a.m. EST. This is my first time on Television in this capacity and I am a bit nervous that the intended clearly comes across. I hope you can watch it live or TIVO it for later consumption. Let me know what you think.
At the end of March, the Bill Baren Coaching team found the time to volunteer for the pledge drive on our local Public Television Station. Check out the photo. That’s it for our 15 minutes of fame.
Feedback
It has always been my practice to solicit feedback regarding my coaching. Last week, one of my clients took her valuable time to give me her uncensored feedback. It wasn’t exactly effortless for me to stay open to this kind of honesty and it was exactly what I needed. This feedback has already made me a better coach and has given me some tangible feedback on how to make my coaching space a more safe and sacred haven for transformation. I am forever grateful to my client for this display of full self-expression.
This situation has reminded me the power of asking and fully receiving feedback – not only taking in the parts we are ready to receive, not judging the messenger for how the message is delivered, but fully embracing the feedback as gift.
I am also reminded that incorporating the solicitation and integration of feedback from our clients, customers, employees is an vital part of making our businesses/projects a wild success.
So I’d like to take this opportunity to ask you for your feedback on my Coach Talk --- and please be brutally honest.
