What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I want to have replaced my unemployment checks and be bringing in the income I lost so I can continue to stay home with my amazing 2 and 5 yr old sons which has always been my dream before I was married and be the highest paid homemaker around=).

Why is it that you should be chosen? Do you want the sob, tug at your heart strings story, or just to know that I am teary-eyed as I think about the opportunity I have at hand along with my will power and mission and not seeing the return yet with the limited time that I have. Grandma unexpectadly passed at 54 after the book was completed. Now we read their storybook for bed time with our boys and they get to learn about grandma the way she wanted to be rememebered along with their morals, values and tradtions. This helps them feel connected and learn what type of a family they come from. I have 55 others looking to me to help them with their businesses with little feeling the fire as I do. I have sponsored over 82 consultants over the years and I have started hearing so many people say… it’s a numbers game… but I believe differently. I believe in each person, that it is just a matter of time before their spirit wakes and they feel “alive” again. Growing older people forgot about their dreams and how to “be in the moment”. I want them and me to be successful and not feel like our efforts are being let down.
With all this said,, my background is in Nuclear Medicine. I have worked full time for the past 10 years and in October of 2009, the position I held was eliminated. I worked at a children’s hospital and LOVED what I did. However, due to financials they had to eliminate the position.
Did I love my job, yes. Do I want to stay home with my kids and have the same income or more than I had working full time? YES. I have 12 mths to do it in. Unemployment will run out and my kids will have to go back to daycare where my income will barely cover that as well as the mortgage. We live in a home that does not have central air, my children are not in swimming classes and we live in the land of 10,000 lakes! there is so much more but I choose to look at the big picture.. thinking of all this starts to bring me down and I don’t have time for it.
I have started to learn about inbound marketing and add to my blog. I have done it all, booths, magazine advertisments, phone calls, workshops, online classes, one on ones, creative design, scanning….
Just three weeks ago I had a coach contact me out of the blue and I talked to my husband about it. It would have been 150 dollars a month. Right now, i am not able to pay my student loans, or my electric bills. I am just barely paying the mortgage, with the income I bring in. i do not want to loose our home, for my families sake. I will do what it takes. I talked with my husband and he looked at me and said,” don’t ever doubt yourself again, you don’t need a coach.” I appreciated his words and support, however, i am a huge sports nut and athlete and i don’t care how good you are.. you still need a coach. I found at later the coaching was really 550 a month! I am ready. I am ready. I am ready. I will do it with you or with out you but not as fast as I would be able to do it with you.

I love this idea and your incredible generosity!
To make sure I address each point, I’m covering each one below.
* What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
–I would like to have 30-40 clients enrolled with me each month.
–I would like for my business to be a household name in my niche market.
–I would like to develop a really fantastic group program at a lower price point.
–I would like to be doing at least 1-2 speaking engagements per month.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
–I consistently get wonderful, positive feedback from people who have an initial consultation with me, and they always say that they really want to do the program, but the vast majority feel that money is an issue. (They actually share that they believe the cost of the program is quite reasonable, but that they can’t budget for it now.)
–The message of my work can also be a challenge. I’m a Health At Every Size practitioner, and I help people stop dieting and reconnect with their bodies. Even though my work has been clinically proven to create more health in people who do this sort of program (better blood work numbers, overall sense of wellbeing) I sometimes feel at a loss in getting my message across against the very loud $60 billion a year diet industry. (Though, to be honest, my list has been increasing and more and more people are getting turned on to this work.)

— It would help me create programs at differing price points in order to make it easier for people to work with me.

A. have a list of 1000 or more
B. coaching all the clients I can handle
C. earning at least $70,000 a year or more - I used to say $150,000 but I’ve lowered my expectations.
D. a dynamic website that visitors flock to
E. Create and sell my own products
F. I want my business to make a difference and be able to give back to others, so their journey won’t be as difficult as mine has been.
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
A. Focus - mine on what to do and in what order, the website, content
B. Marketing that works
C. Money - lost $50,000 last year due to bizzare situations. I thought I was intelligent but I think I’ve had to rethink that. I even won 3rd place last year in Melanie Benson Strick’s Business Horror Story contest. Isn’t that something to be proud of….:)

I’m honest, giving, humorous, exceptionally smart, knowledgable, determined and a hard worker. Your scholarship is a precious gift that could change my life and others. I would follow your blueprint with diligence. If I had the money, I’d already be signed up as your cost is very reasonable.
I spent 25+ years as a social worker, I’m a certifed life coach and a Holistic Health Practioner. I have 9 books that will ready from layout next week that will go into a JV for licensing but that is all ‘what if’ and only costs out and not helping to bring any money in at this time - I can only hope but after that, I still need the Blueprint to make things work.
I’ve worked so very hard to create my business, been taken ($) by ‘professionals’, worked 12hrs a day for over a year which means no fun life, and all I want is to coach people.
I love helping people have a better quality of life, that is what I’ve done for almost 30 yrs, what I want to do and to earn enough to pay the bills and make a little extra.
I’m very determined to succeed. I’ve dealt with becoming disabiled to come back and try to work from home. My husband just had heart surgery and then his car was totaled and we don’t know what we’re going to do. We have just this week to decide. So, to be honest, I’m at the crossroads of do or die. So much invested that I should and want to continue vs. maxed out credit cards that will take years to pay off and getting a life back but will have to deal with feelings of failure which is not something I’m used too.

(I know I already paid for this but I used a credit card and am living with my mother at the age of 52 years old because I had gotten into debt having not sold my house for a year and having lost child support for that year. So it would be very valuable for me to have that money back - or perhaps to upgrade my program in some other way.) Anyway, that should tell you how much I want this to work.
What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months? I want to be a model of success - first of all to myself and also to my sons, who are 22 and 19. I also see myself in a loving relationship. Why do I bring up a relationship here? Well, I am committed to coming into my next relationship as a financially independent woman fully contributing to every aspect of the relationship. So for these reasons, I wish to see myself soar financially. And this is the most important part of it: so that I can live what I teach - that anyone can Do, Be and Have anything they wish. I love to help people - and not in an egotistical way either - I do it all the time simply by reaching to learn about the true meaning of love.
As long as I can remember, I was interested in something more (which I later found was accessible through things I learned in my coach training - Law of Attraction, unconditional love, forgiveness and the journey within.) I am committed to helping people and also making a great living doing it.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
1) My ex husband has been trying to break me financially and I want to transcend that. As much as I’ve worked at forgiving him and finding love for him and his new wife, I continue to be challenged by the decision I made awhile back to not go for spousal maintenance. But when my ex got my son to move in with him and my child support ended, I was stuck with a house I couldn’t afford and went into serious debt. I made lots of efforts to get business moving and had minimal results. The house sold after a year on the market. So to minimize expenses I’ve moved in with my mom. I do not wish to suffer because I was a stay at home Mom though. I am proud of how my sons benefited in fact. Though I admit it is painful that my ex husband has amnesia about that.
2) Having been raised in a very poor family (and I’m reminded of that living here with my own Mom), I am thrilled to have mentally transcended that barrier as well. I am the first from a very large working class family to have completed college - and now I’ve also completed Coach U and Core Dynamics Coach training. However, I am anxious to see the evidence in my life. I know the value of feeling successful. I KNOW I offer tremendous value to many people. Maybe this doesn’t sound like a limitation the way I write it here, but I think there are still some “full ownership of success” barriers I need to transcend. Or put another way - I think I need to fully embody success for myself.

1) Learning how to attract clients will allow me to reach more people and to thrive - which will spread to others as well.

Why is it that you should be chosen?
I should be chosen because I get that even though it all starts with me, I also know that by reaching out to others in a genuine way, loving them unconditionally and demonstrating how to take care of myself, I spread peace and have the greatest impact on the world. I already have a jump on this in that I have a network of about 350 in my e-newsletter, often get thank yous for my inspirational messages and I run a free networking luncheon called Prosperity Network.
So I have continued to do this work because to do anything else would be to betray myself. I have stayed with coaching for 10 years, have grown tremendously as a coach, invested in myself because I absolutely had to. The pain of my divorce brought me to my knees and yet the depth of my despair drove me to find answers. I found them - they are about the true meaning of love - which starts with me.
In a dream I saw my ex husband as a child throwing stones and it caused me to open my heart and have compassion for him. Tom Stone taught me that as we grow we challenge some people. That’s what happened to my marriage. My ex was threatened by my new found confidence. Tom helped me identify that. And I learned I have to grow anyway.
I look forward to attracting many more clients and managing the business aspect of this so well that I experience great success for myself and many more clients.

Thanks, Bill, for offering this scholarship opportunity. Definitely life changing and I wish all the best to the person who receives it.
1. In 12 months I want a business. I have a practice, but I recognize that I don’t yet have a business. I want a business that is recognized and respected in my local community, but also on a larger global scale. I want to attract five times more clients per week than I currently average. I want to connect with the kind of ideal clients who recognize the value I offer and want to pay me what I’m worth. I want to become a guru in my niche so that, as you put it, clients are practically “pre-sold” on my services. I want to achieve financial freedom, free from financial anxiety, while doing what I love to do.
2. I think my first biggest challenge is a poverty mindset or mentality. I haven’t figured out how to properly value my services and skills. As a result I have difficulty effectively communicating this value to potential clients. And if the client doesn’t understand the value, I don’t blame them for not choosing to invest in the service.
My second biggest challenge is information overload. I search out and access all this great content and advice, but then don’t know what to do with it or how to implement it. I end up feeling overwhelmed. I need a system or structure to help me take action.
My third biggest challenge is perfection paralysis. I feel the need to do everything “right” and stall if I doubt that I can do it perfectly. Being held accountable and having someone “call me out” would help tremendously.

The results I will obtain for my business over the next twelve months are as follows: I will have multiplied the number of current clients I have into several hundred. These will be ideal clients who are talkers and will generate referrals for me so my business will not only grow in the next twelve months, but will continue to do so year after year. These clients will have consistent average sales and my income will be over six figures. In addition to creating an exciting client base I will have grown my Teen Identity Program and will reach over 100 Jr. and high Schools with this program that tackles teen identity and self image. My final goal is to have the ability to open a studio location outside of my home to further brand my business as a boutique experience.
My three biggest challenges are that one, I am an artist not a business person. By nature I do not color inside the lines and I need to develop this skill for the business side of my success. The good news is that I am very coach-able! And I have tons of talent and equipment! I need support and guidance - worrying that I am on the right track or on any track at all! And lastly - I feel that my current programs and pricing are erratic and am not sure how to makes the sales program run smoothly and seamlessly. I am not confident in what I am currently doing and have been attempting to self-heal but it’s not going as well as it could be and after reading your information I truly believe that this is the right track for me.
The Three benefits that I believe I will receive from this program are first and foremost - accountability. Right now I am a solo entrepreneur in a fairly rural area. It’s me and my head to accomplish my business goals and, well, it can be lonely and scary there!! All kidding aside, I am so looking forward to and am excited about having accountability to the program and other members of the group. I personally love achieving goals and soaring over bars that are set before me. Secondly, I feel I can benefit from the Business tactics of this program. I am an artist and struggle most with the concrete steps to build the business side. I have recently been studying other successful photographers and they all comment that talent is only a small portion of the success formula and that having solid business skills are a much larger factor in their success. I also think that the support and focus that will be provided will be fabulous and necessary to make these next steps in my successful growth. And thirdly, what I think is the most exciting aspect is to walk away with the feeling of COMPETENCY!! I will absolutely know what I am doing and how to do it! Ta Da!!! So very cool!
I feel I should be chosen because I truly love what I do, am already established, and have great potential. That being said, everyone who has responded to this essay also has many of these attributes. What makes me unique? I deserve it. I need it. I am ready to run with it. First let me say thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn from you. I appreciate your teleseminars, they are very helpful.
1. In the next 12 months, I will have a profitable six figure business($170,000). I will do this by providing a SEO Content Writing & Social Media Done 4 U Membership Program to Day/Medical Spa Owners and Solo practitioners in the Health & Wellness profession. There are 4 tiers of membership Silver, Gold, Platinum & Diamond. I will have no more than 10 clients, 2 diamond, 2 platinum, 2, gold, 4 Silver. They will be on 3 month fixed term membership where I will act as their Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant and Social Media Manager.
My second stream of income will be to have a monthly teleseminar program for my fellow and aspiring SEO Content Writers, teaching them how to market their business online and offline.
2. The first challenge I have is being the jack of all trades and the master of none. I just need to focus on one specific thing that I am good at, and I have trouble with finding that out, because I can’t see what “outsiders” see. The second challenge I have is learning how to sell, I get traffic to my website, and I perform free to low-cost marketing strategies, however, I am not converting that traffic into clients. The 3rd Challenge is FEAR. I feel that I am new in business and nobody wants to hire a ” rookie.” I want to approach big time marketers that can benefit my help, but I put doubts in my head, saying they are too “BIG” to worry about ” Little ” Me.

The questions is why I should be chosen for the scholarship? I will tell you why I think I should be chosen for the scholarship in just a moment, but first I want to share a little story with you that will give you insight of the characteristics that I have to succeed:
A few years ago, I was overweight with high cholesterol. ” 214. Not bad, and not good for someone of your age.” My doctor said calmly. I wasn’t upset, but I was shocked, I could have easily taking pills and meds to help with this not so severe case of bad eating consequences. So, instead of taking meds, what did I do? I did what any smart person would do to avoid the hidden dangers of high ldl. I started a diet and exercise plan. I tried fads in the past, but this time it was serious. And to avoid Diabetes, Stroke, high blood pressure and the like, I knew I had to get in better shape. The first thing I did was join a gym, ( no matter the cost), next thing I did was went to the library and got books on dieting and exercising, then I met a friend who already lost 100 pounds to give me mental and emotional support. At the time, I was 225 pounds, my goal was to lose 35 pounds. After all, I am 5′11, I just wanted to get under that damn 200 mark. I guess you can say I was a little neurotic, but I was in the gym 7 days a week, 2-3 hours a day. I would start with a weight training class, followed up by some cardio, and on really rough days, just soak in the sauna. I had a food and exercise journal where I wrote down everything I ate and did for the week. I actually wrote out what I was going to have a week in advance in my book, and get excited and built anticipation about the Grilled Salmon, Brown Rice and Broccoli that I would have on Friday at 5pm for dinner. I followed this plan for 6 months, and guess what happened? Not only did I lose the 35 pounds, I lost a total of 55 pounds of fat in 6 months! Was this an accident? No, I wrote out a plan, I followed that plan to the T, I had support, and no matter how frustrating it was when I hit plateaus, and had days where I wanted to load up on Ice cream and oreos, I never gave up and kept focused on my goal- to get under 200 pounds, buy a sexy black dress, and finally muster up the confidence to ask the hot bartender that I liked out. The bartender said no, but hey, I still looked great at my new weight of 175. But more importantly, my health improved. I had more energy, better LDL levels, and just a better sense of self confidence.
Did you get what I was trying to point out in the story? I have the tenacity, drive, ambition, and desire to succeed. When I truly want something, I go after it, and do whatever it takes( as long as it’s legal and morally correct). I am one of the few people I know who gets a rush of going to the library to find out information that will contribute to my success. I invest my time into learning from books, audio tapes, and teleseminars like the one Bill Baren performs. Not only, do I learn, I actually implement. However, I know there is something missing in my sales process and that’s why I need to be chosen for The Client Mastery Program. It’s not because I want to be a better sales person, it’s because I want to make a difference in the world. I am not a world healer, I am a writer and a tech geek, but I have the skills that a world healer needs so they can get their message out into the world with my help. I was recently laid-off from my job, and I have been networking &performing internet marketing tasks, I get clients, but they are not consistent and it’s barely enough to buy groceries. I have family and friends constantly tell me to buckle down and go out and get a “real job”again. But, I know in my heart and in my soul that the universe is challenging me to step up into my power and live my true destiny. Thank you for providing a scholarship opportunity! I’m sure there are many of us who desperately need it! Tough decisions!
I am a coach for parents of special needs children (those with autism, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, etc…) who need help implementing natural, dietary methods to help their children. I have 4 children from 2 to 10 and have used these methods to help our own children with these problems. We have overcome many struggles and begun helping others do the same. It is a very challenging world to live in and it is my desire to show parents that there is a way out. The dietary and lifestyle changes seem so difficult to most and it is my goal to help parents throughout the journey, support them during transition, and celebrate with them once they recover their true child from whatever they are currently struggling with. It is easy when you know how and have a step-by-step guide.
Just like you, I have a blueprint that I want to share with as many people as possible because I know first hand the beautiful reality of implementing it successfully. I know I have a great tribe out there, but I have not been yet been able to find them! I need
I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
1. To have at least 2000 readers on my list. (My heart says I know I can get many more in that time, but my mind keeps telling me it hasn’t happened yet so I should limit my expectations…As of now I’m barely at 130.)
2. To have actual full-paying clients! I only have worked with special discounts and free sessions until now.
3. Have a group coaching program in place as a lower price point for clients.
4. Refine my private coaching offer to be a powerful, irresistible offer that parents don’t want to miss out on.
5. To have speaking engagements, live or virtual, spreading the message of amazing transformations using health and nutrition to help our ever growing population of children with autism and adhd.
6. To finalize and publish my recipe e-book series.
7. To have at least a free forum for parents to share experiences with, if not a full online paid membership community – I need more people for this to be possible!
8. To have a specific vision and action plan to continue to grow my business in the years to come!
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
1. I have a beautiful website and built my foundation, but I am simply not getting any “bites” for any offer. I have done all the basic steps: have an autoresponder, free taste, twitter, facebook, ezine, etc…but am struggling to figure out how they will bring the clients in! I have no guidelines or specific plan to follow and feel like I could continue for years stumbling along without results if I don’t have an exact outline for what I should be doing and when.
2. No accountability/feeling isolated since I don’t know anyone personally who is running their own coaching business. If I don’t get something done, it’s no big deal to anyone but me. I had a coach before with accountability and feel a huge difference without it. (I love the group accountability/co-learning as an added benefit of your program!)
3. Like my child with adhd, I know I struggle with time management! For me it isn’t a matter of a disorder, but simply still being a stay at home mom while trying to start up my business. I need help with planning my priorities and finding balance between both my household and my business schedule.
III. What are at least 3 benefits Client Master Blueprint will bring to your business and your life?
1. It will help me refine what text I have already written (website & more) to grow my list faster and attract more prospects. I feel that I have spent all my money and time in my first year on that website and basic business knowledge and I have not yet seen any results.
2. I have no doubt it will solve my problems of converting prospects into paying clients. It will help me get my message out there in a way that actually attracts people to my products and services, which will only allow me to create more and serve more people. I can’t wait to have thousands of people who can say I’ve helped them recover their special needs child through natural means! What a better world that will be!
3. By having focus and a specific blueprint to follow, I can consolidate all my time and resources into only doing what I SHOULD be doing for my business marketing, not wasting time on what I THINK needs to be done! This will allow me to focus more on actual product/service creation and time for sharing more valuable free information through more consistent blog and article writing, which will in turn bring more people to me! I see it as an uphill cycle instead of downhill.
4. See all points I wrote about in II. Biggest Challenges above – I have no doubt this program will help solve all those problems of accountability, prospect attraction, and time management.
IV. Why is it that you should be chosen?
First of all, if I could pay, I would have signed up immediately! I have used the limited financial resources of our 6 person, 1 income family to get my business to where it is today and there is nothing extra left. We are struggling to keep going as is and I can’t invest any more until the money comes from my business.
I hired a business coach for my business’ foundational stages and loved it. I can’t believe what I achieved during that time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t grounded in marketing and while I know I have superb coaching materials, knowledge, and am great at what I do, I don’t have the numbers I need to produce the results I want. I am at the point of winging it on my own until I start getting clients. I know this program will get me exactly to where I need to go and beyond. I feel caught in a “catch 22” – I can’t get clients without support and I can’t afford to pay for the support until I get clients.
I have worked very hard to get where I am. I’m motivated and driven, and will give it my all if I am chosen. I don’t take gifts lightly and would work harder knowing I was given this opportunity out of your kindness than if I spent money on it! Sounds odd, maybe, but I know I couldn’t take it for granted! I have a guilty conscience knowing that I have already spent my family’s personal resources without having a return on that investment.
What moved me to start my business in the first place is that I saw how successful we were with implementing natural diet and lifestyle changes while hearing how others wished they could but struggle with it and/or give up. I would never go back to our old lives knowing what my child has achieved and can now achieve because of his literal transformation. As I started helping out friends and other family members, everyone kept telling me, you need to start a website and help others. It just grew from there. My heart is in my business; it isn’t just what I do, but who I am, who we are as a family.
Mahatma Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I am and now I just need your help in spreading my message to the world!

I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
As you know, Averan and I own a video production company. We specialize in creating online videos for forward-thinking brands - those concerned with environmental issues, social justice, health and wellness, and positive social change.
We’ve built up our experience and our portfolio, and have been working on improving our branding and marketing, but we’re not getting the results we want quite yet, and we’re ready to take our business to the next level.
Here’s what we’d like to achieve:
- Connecting with our ‘perfect client’ - a forward-thinking brand or individual who understands the value of online video to their social media strategies, has a reasonable budget, and wants a mid- to long-term relationship. We want to be the go-to team for values-based businesses, entrepreneurs or non-profits who want a social media strategy powered by online video and who have the money to pay for it.
- In that same vein, we want the chance to get creative and strategic with our clients. Our goal is to have all of our client relationships be collaborative and cover the full lifecycle of a successful social media strategy - from research and concept development to shooting, editing and online distribution. We want to work on bigger, meatier projects that have big impacts.
- Income flow and stability: We’d like to always have enough long-term clients or scheduled projects to feel that the following 3-6 months are financially secure, so that we can pay ourselves sustainably, cover our expenses, and feel confident re-investing in our business and working on independent passion projects or pro-bono projects.
- Feeling fulfilled, confident and excited about our work on a daily basis. When business is up and down, when we’re not sure if we’re doing the right kinds of marketing, when we’re not confident in our financial security - it makes our jobs stressful and frightening. And we don’t want that. We chose our careers because we feel a sense of purpose about our work. I don’t want to second guess that decision and worry, I want to embrace our work and keep getting better and better.
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
- We have a lot of ideas about branding and marketing, and we research best practices. We have some strategies in place, but sometimes we still feel scattered. I think this makes us scatter our energy - I don’t think that we’re following the 80/20 rule that you use.
- We’ve been working on refining our brand and our positioning to clearly communicate the ultimate result for our clients. But I’m not sure that we’re there yet. I don’t want to limit our abilities to work with different clients on interesting projects that fit our skills and passions, but I know that we need to figure out our niche and pursue it.
- We have to be extremely thrifty. Video production has high overhead because the right professional equipment and software is extremely expensive. We have quite a bit of debt right now. We have to pay our monthly fixed costs first, make payments on our debt, purchase equipment - and there is usually next to nothing left over for marketing and sales costs. We’re very good at leveraging free online tools and education, and creating partnerships and exchanges, but we can’t do that for everything. I think we’re limited in reaching the right clients (who have the kinds of budgets we want to be working with) because we can’t afford to meet them where THEY are - at their events, conferences, etc.- or because we’re hesitant to spend money on the tools or coaching that would help us communicate better with them.
III. What are at least 3 benefits Client Master Blueprint will bring to your business and your life?
1. Finding our “tribe” of clients. We know that there are so many businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profits who are doing good in the world, and that online video & social media could boost their efforts even more. We want to connect with them to create a strategy that brings them results. At the same time, this work would be so gratifying to us - as it helps us build a business around conscious, positive media.
2. Creating a successful plan and strategy for our marketing efforts. From referrals and client attraction to packages and sales enrollment - we need to gain mastery of all of these areas so that we can let go of the confusion and uncertainty and confidently move forward in building our business.
3. Coaching and community. I’ve benefited so much from free marketing events, teleseminars, articles and more (especially those from you, Bill, and your colleagues like Robert Middleton). But at this point, I need someone who I can ask questions of and get answers that aren’t generic, but actually apply to me. I need experienced coaches and a supportive community to share ideas and gain wisdom from in order to really feel confident and energized to pursue our marketing, sales and business development efforts.

I know that our business can flourish and make a difference in the world. We are both so dedicated to and passionate about creating positive, inspiring media that truly helps businesses who are doing good in the world to thrive. here are the answers to the 4 questions:
What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
1. To introduce CORPORATE wellness on a practical scale. I have a specific figure in mind as well and a vision for an assistant.
one of the things i do is help people QUIT smoking in 60 minutes Guaranteed, yes for life. And would like corporations medium - large to pay for their employee wellbeing on the job as well as raise company culture, improve productive and promote ‘we share the care’ As paying for the staff who are smoking and want to quit shows the company CARES. So then employees feel part of a special team and care more about the company and their job. As well as introduce nutritional wellness let’s face it no one can be productive with low blood sugar levels and most people get to work already fatigued and stressed by 10am.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
1. i do some corporate training by invitation only and really have no clue as to how to get a bigger pie out of the sector
the thought of “how/what daunts me yet the end result adrenalises the desire more so i am excited to manifest Empowered Living Corporate Wellness as it is about managing Energy on all levels. How do i communicate that? when it is all about time and money. And my message is manage energy and manage time and money
2. I mostly work in private practice with one on one coaching/stress management and most of my corporate clients literally hate their job or environment and the majority of their symptoms anxiety, fatigue comes from not liking what they do,i would like to help people enjoy what they do by managing their energy and resources at work.
As i am in information database i feel scattered in pursuing corporate wellness - copy, website marketing would need to be systematized and focused. This is where i need your coaching to get me above and beyond the line As well as a clear marketing/action strategy.
3. I would like to speak/present more on wellness and other related topics and already do upon invitation in Nov this year i am speaking at an annual conference 150 people on Chemical toxicity and Corporate Wellness and i do not have the systems in place for follow up or to maximize this opportunity, i am focusing on delivering a compelling message and get the participants to become savvy consumers and stop the chemicals in our production line. 1. I have ADD and dyslexia, which seem to translate to a lack of sticking to a focus. Erg.
2. I’ve been attracting clients that want me to do things I don’t know how, nor do I want learn how to do, but won’t pay enough for me to outsource those aspects of the project. Double erg.

I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I want every business owner who walks out my home office door to feel EXCITED about their business. Three months later I want them to be thrilled that they ever met me.
I want to increase the number of new clients to at least 1-2 per week so that I can have this positive impact on as many business owners as possible.
This number of clients would also mean that the profits from my business would cover two mortgages on overseas properties which we intended to sell before completion but are now stuck with due to the collapse of the stock market - $40,000 pa. Plus an additional $20,000 pa to reinvest in the business.
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
I am not prepared to leave my kids exposed - so the money is a big problem for me. I’m not afraid of hard work (I’ve been working very hard every day for a long time) but I do struggle with keeping positive and strong all the time. And I find it hard to charge what my services are really worth.

1. Personal support and direction from mentors with the strength and wisdom which only comes from experience.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to submit for this scholarship. For the past 6 months I’ve been working on developing my business as a Business Mentor to Fitness, Health & Wellness Professionals (specifically Pilates, Yoga, Massage, Holistic Therapists and Personal Trainers). After selling my Pilates studio at the end of last year (after 8 years building it from no clients to hundreds) I realized I had done things in this business that were unusual. I intuitively attracted and retained clients and developed deep connections with the clients that changed their lives.
I saw others in these industries struggling to “get by” i.e. getting trained then having little success due to problems “getting clients”. I saw these amazing and talented people who wanted to make a difference in the world while creating better health for their clients getting burned out and stressed. Many leave their industry after 3 years because they aren’t making money and are frustrated. I resolved in January this year to address this and I created: Business Wellbeing. I want to create a movement that helps these Professionals create viable businesses while helping them help more people than they are helping now!
Without sounding like I’ve got my hand out (or that I’m a charity case) I’ve taken huge financial risk to do this (my current income is so low that I feel ashamed to type it in!) My husband paid for me to attend the Master of Enrollment course as an early birthday present and this gave me the confidence and belief to start a Free Pilot Mentoring program. I’m currently working with 6 clients who are achieving amazing results. Now I need help to translate this into creating a business that works for me - I feel like I’m living an incongruent life i.e. helping others “get ahead” while I am struggling financially!

1 In 12 months I would like to be earning $70,000.
2 To have compelling packages that give my clients the outcomes they need (and are prepared to invest in)
3 To have my list built to 1,000
4 To make a positive difference to my target market. Through no fault of their own they are unable to attract the clients they want to work with.
5 To have an increased profile in my industry and to start speaking and selling my services from stages.
6 To be seen as an expert in these industries as the “go-to” person for creating fast outcomes
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
1 Cash-flow. My day to day living expenses are zero, I work from home and as I said before my income is worse than pitiful!
2 Knowing where to find my target market and how to create a package that appeals to them.
3 Guidance and mentoring (also related to cash flow) I hired a coach earlier in year and had to stop due to financial issues. During this time I flourished.

1 The ability to bring my business to life and to make the huge impact I know it can. I’ve been dreaming about this for so long and know deep inside this is “my calling”. I was confident with enrollment process and after a few months of not finding paying clients know that I need support and guidance. I went over finances with husband and there is no money spare.

I’ve never, ever asked for a hand-out nor do I consider that my case is “worse than” others who have also applied for this scholarship. I do know that my heart sang when I saw this email today, with the thought that “maybe this would answer my prayers”!
I have such a desire to connect with and help my tribe - I see them struggling and doubting themselves because they can’t find clients. And now I feel like I’ve become one of them, due to my inability to market myself to them!
I’m a hard worker and would love to be considered. I would love to get out of the cycle of guilt and fear I am constantly in now - guilt that I haven’t made money from my business and fear that I don’t have the resources to.

***What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I want the ever-elusive financial security. My wildest desire is to facilitate others in their life journey through a retreat setting. I already have the title: “The Artist as a Spiritual Explorer.” I have been on this journey myself my entire life, but I have yet to find the way to bring this dream into reality and earn a living doing so. I do believe that the magazine and talk show I started in January are a giant step in the direction of my dreams. I want to be seen as the wise woman mentor who walks her talk.
I want to make a difference in people’s lives or, at minimum, a contribution to those lives I touch. I want to feel as strong and together as other people see me. I want to feel supported and loved. I want to feel energized and whole. I want to feel respected as a woman living her authentic life while allowing and encouraging others to do the same.
I want, no MUST create a business that supports me financially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, creatively, etc. I want to honor all of me and erase those self-doubts that sometimes paralyze me. I want to develop my relationships and, perhaps, find love. I want to live a fit and healthy lifestyle that supports and allows me to follow my dreams. I consider awareness to be living consciously and living in the present. I work at this always. I want to be so joyful that colorful energy explodes from within me to infect those I encounter and fills them with the same joyfulness. I believe all of the above goals and dreams are working toward my expansion and growth as a spiritual human being.
I have been told “I am a visionary spiritual leader with a global job to do.” I have no problem being a visionary…I can do this all day. I have issues bringing the vision into the world! I get lost in the details. I am not a detail person. I am a Big picture person who wants to take the notebooks full of vision and turn them into a working business model that honors my spirit and earns me a living-period!!!!

When I am not feeling quite right it is usually because I am not being my true self, or fully my true self. My biggest obstacle is self-doubt, which stems from lack of trust. I have a persona that the world sees, but I am so much more than that! It is there just out of my reach!
I am working very hard (some days 20 hours) and making NO money!!!! That is NO MONEY!!! I am in search of that final missing piece that will bring to me financial security, wholeness and the ability to transform myself so that I can help others transform.
I know that I am still that girl too paralyzed to move into her calling because I feel unworthy of it. Now I want to jump through the computer and get the help that will move me past these blocks and into my passion and my purpose as a visionary spiritual leader with a global job to do. I will work the program…every piece of it!!! I take the time to study and work on myself every day. I create that space where I can meditate and pray at the beginning of each day so that I am energized to carry forth with my work. I am a consummate reader of self-help books. My most productive personal transformation work has been in spiritual direction formation, which is a form of mentoring/coaching people in their walk with God. It has taken me to the depths of my soul as have The Spiritual Exercises of St. Augustine and work with Tony Robbins and Wayne Dyer. I am eclectic and drawn to being the best me I can be. The results are a continual movement toward my bigger purpose and each process/program is still working within me each day and influencing each step of my personal journey.
I want this so badly that I can taste the success that would be forthcoming from our working together. And I must make this work at this time.

Specific Results in 12 months: I want to see at least 100 single moms come through my program with strong businesses of their own. I want to see my media program (magazine and internet tv) with solid sponsorships. I want to have a $120,000 business in 12 months.
Challenges: Making my message clear. Relaying the message in an influential way. Reaching as much of my target market as possible in different venues.
Benefits:Assist me with more one-on-one engaging instead of tending to the masses, which can be a comfort zone. It will give me a plan for helping more single moms on an ongoing basis not trying to figure out what to do next. How to step out and use speaking engagements (seminars/workshop) to get in front of my target market (which is actually something I am excited to do, but haven’t made the leap yet).

What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
*I would like to have at least 100 paying members on my site who have signed-up for my on-line programs and other training programs I offer both on-line and in person. I would like to be traveling and teaching offering my workshops to women in the U.S. and in Europe doing one to two a month. I want to be connected to organizations or women who want me to teach in their area.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
* I haven’t been able to create enough resources to hire a network marketer or to re-design my web site which is ok but could be even better. I also have not been able to get myself connected to women who might sponsor me in other locations to get myself out there more. I have had a difficult time selling my programs which people are interested in but don’t seem to actually sign-up for. I haven’t been able to fully develop all my programs yet as I have a very big vision and I still need to work full time. I want to attract more women to partner with me and to volunteer some time to assist me.

I’ve recently started a blog that is the precursor to a book I’m co-authoring with another coach: “The DaVinci Dilemma(TM) Solutions for Multi -Talented People”. Our mission is to inspire super-creative people (including entrepreneurs) to make the most of their many talents, to enrich themselves and the world. We help them overcome the paralysis, procrastination, stress and self-recrimination having “so much potential” can engender in many multi-talented people. You could say they have “creative ADD”. We call them DaVincis. I know where they are coming from, because I am a screenwriter, a cartoonist, a singer, a standup comic and more. My first “job” was as a street performer in New York City!
I also help these people come up with money-making ideas based on their talents, and marketing strategies (I am a former Madison Avenue advertising copywriter)so they can communicate their uniqueness and make a living from something they love and were born to do.
I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I want to work only with super-creative people with a passion for finally letting their talents shine. So I want be in a position to turn away prospects who don’t feel right for me. For that to happen, I’d like to have at least five long term one on one clients at $750 per month, and a group program(or several) at a lower price point.
I’d like at least one speaking gig a month. At first I’d speak for free (with an eye to selling programs or collecting leads afterward), but I’d eventually like to develop keynotes where I could speak for a fee.

1. Knowing exactly who and especially WHERE my “tribe” is. “The DaVinci Dilemma” is something that a LOT of people identify with, strongly. But it’s a mental/emotional group, not a demographic. While I suspect there are a lot in the entertainment field (EVERYONE I know there seems to think they are a “DaVinci” type), I find people from very diverse communities are attracted to the message. So how do I cast my net???
2. CLOSING, CLOSING, CLOSING!! People rave about how wonderful the intro session was and feel great — so great, they don’t feel like they need me anymore. I also get practically SICK when having to mention money. I put it off until 30 minutes becomes almost an hour and often I still don’t make the sale. The times I HAVE gotten the client, they saw the value right away, selling them was easy, I almost didn’t have to ask. Not sure what I did right!!
3. Knowing how much to give away and how much to charge for. And then WHAT to charge. I feel I’m at least as good a coach as some people I see asking $10k for a Platinum Mastermind– and getting it. It seems rather a wide chasm from where I’m standing.

*I think my biggest issues are lack of clarity about where to focus my energies and lack of marketing skills. I know lots of information, but am lacking the implementation skills.

Well I found my self 40, without a job and with challenges in my personal life and in a dilemma on what to do….. Having never run my own business but loving the job I had lost, I decided to take the plunge and set up my own corporate gift business. Dear Bill,
first of all, I realize that to enter this contest for your Client Mastery Scholarship, the instructions said to post this to your blog. Frankly, I do not know how to do this! I am partially sighted and went to your web site and the software I use as a screen reader didn’t mesh well with the site. but that’s probably me and I could get some training on it.
You see, that’s just the thing.
I have just had six months of training from a Master Coach. I got rid of fears, excuses and realized that with twenty years in the complementary healthcare industry that I was more than qualified to be a Wellness and Energy Medicine Coach from home! I put in place all of the visual support systems, adaptive equipment and basic website instruction…good to go! All I needed were the clients.Right?
Wrong.
Towards the last part of the course I began to experience some weird neurological symptoms and with an excellent integrative medical team, I was diagnosed with MS. Now I have to adapt…again. I am not a quitter! Everything is in place to work from home. I have the skills and absolutely love what I do. I am passionate about Quality of Life, because I know the difference. I call myself a Quality of Life Coach.
I have been on several of your introductory calls and really like your soft sense of humor. I loved being plugged into the Simpleology material! I am right where your class begins: getting clients. I don’t know if you can adapt your material to work the unpredictability of a quirky illness like MS, but I am willing to try if you are! (I think the lesson in this for me has something to do with a control aspect!). Hi Bill,
Thanks for the opportunity. I’ll start with the reason why I think I should be chosen. The business that I work in is one of transformation, change and facilitating greater connection between people on the job front. It is about creating a more conscious communinty where people are energized and engaged by what they do, who they are and how they can contribute creatively in helping to fulfill a greater mission for themselves within the larger organizational context they are part of. And yes, as much as I understand the value of your program, it’s completely out of my budget right now so it would be an unbeliveable gift and opportuntity.
From a teambuilding point of view, I realize that there are some things that I excell in, and other areas that are better left untouched. My area of strength is in facillitating connections. The area which I can use a lot of help is in the nuts and bolts of building a business and to get out the message of what I do, so I can help others understand this value for themselves and the organizations in which they are part of.
Challenges that currently stop me from getting what I want is juggling too many balls at the same time and taking care of many business functions – with almost no budget to work to outsource these needs. I’m not sure if I am working smartly, or doing the work it takes to build a business from the ground up. The bottom line is that as thankful as I am for the clients that I have, there is not a consistant flow of work (revenue producing) and I want to double my income at a minimum within the next 12 months. I am specifically looking to do a 180 degree turn and have more business than I can handle, where I can choose which clients I want to work with and when.

I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
1- Well the first thing for sure would be to win a scholarship to Client Master Blueprint!
2 - Develop and launch 2 additional services to provide new revenue streams – besides one-on-one life balance coaching I would like to develop and sell a) group coaching on various self-care related topics and b) wellness weekend retreats.
3-I would like to get a steady individual coaching client base of 15 clients.

What a cool idea. Also of course very generous. My name is Mike Margolies. I am a sport psychology consultant. I have mostly young athletes try and reach their potential in sports and school. While I have worked with elite and professional athletes, I am more interested in simply helping kids get something out of sports that they might not if the didn’t get my kind of skills training. When I was an athlete in college and a little beyond I didn’t have good coaching. I didn’t understand the mental approach to competiton. When I was done competing as a soccer player, what I did understand was that there had to be a better way. I found the better way but as you will read the better way only has an impact if I can reach kids.
I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I’m one of the best kept secrets in sports. Over the last 32 years I’ve worked with athlete’s from around the country and they have been very, very successful. They’ve won gold medals and championships. I on the other hand have spent my life helping them and having to work for other companies to support my family. I was laid off from the last gig 6 months ago and decided to just work with athletes. They’re doing great, but I’m running out of money. I won’t last 12 months without a different approach.
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
My biggest challenge is convincing people that even though they admit that athletics is mostly mental and that they will spend money on athletic wear, coaching, personal trainers and novelty items that they think will help them achieve their goals, they won’t spend the time or money on learning the psychological skills needed for success in sports.
My other challenge is turning speaking opportunities into enrollment. I get people to come hear about the benefits of mental training and they believe. Just not enough to spend time and money. Part of this is the physical nature of sport. They want to actively do something. If Nike showed athletes geared up doing relaxation training it would be a done deal.
III. What are at least 3 benefits Client Master Blueprint will bring to your business and your life?
A. I’m not good at asking for things for myself. It’s weird in that I’ve been a sales manager for other companies and selling has never been an issue. Asking for a raise, now that was a different story. Negotiations for others, no sweat. For myself, that’s another issue.
B. I’ve come to realize that even if I booked my time seeing athletes all day long I would either burn out or still not make the living I would like to support my family. I need some other way to generate income that does not mean seeing 40 clients a day.
C. I really need a system that will allow me to work with people, make money and retain my ethical standards of not putting myself ahead of my clients. I’ve nothing against testimonials, though I’m sort of ashamed to say I’ve never asked for one. My issue has been that most successful sport psychology people have marketed themselves at the expense of their clients. Even when it’s done with the athletes permission I’ve had a hard time getting my head around it. I think I’ve come to a compromise on this, but I need a system I think to make it work.
IV. Why is it that you should be chosen?
I want to tell a story here. Last Wednesday I got a call from a 714 area code. He said he didn’t know if I would remember him, but that I had helped him get ready for competition once. He had found me via some form of social medial. His name is Mauricio Bardales. He is not a household name, but from 1978-1980 he was one of the best decathletes in the world. I had helped him 32 years ago get ready for the 1980 Boycotted Olympics. I helped him for free because he had less money than I did. I was blown away that he had called. What I want is that someone I help this year calls me when I’m in my 80’s. That won’t ever happen if I can’t turn my knowledge into a business. I can’t afford to pay for the class, I can’t afford to miss it I realize as well. I heard Bill on a tele-seminar up here in Seattle and it immediately hit home. That helped me convert a first time conversation into an enrollment. I need more so I can give more. I hope that I am worthy.

Hello Bill my name is Marques Pedescleaux
In the next 12 months I look to publish my first book and looking to make impact on people’s lives. As well as other interest I am thinking of hosting a talk entitled Be Motivated, and one day establishing a mentor program suitable to meet the needs of the concept of family.
There are a few things I would love to see from business
1) Enough Income to work without having part time jobs
2) Consistent clientele ranging from 20-30 clients a month
3) Stream a live talk show
4) Also would like to be a motivational speaker
My greatest challenges
1) Finding and keeping paying clients
2) Operating in my niche with confidence

1) Is creating a tribe: I have a blog but I only average about maybe 200 views a month …. It is not bad but I would like alot more. A lot people don’t leave comments, the ones i do get are spam! Creating a tribe is something that has always fascianted me but I knew how to start one!
2) Time Mastery: I want to learn how to make every second count. Time is not always money, but time is an opportunity to make money and achieve finacial goals!
3) Sales conversation: I struggle with trying to convert friends into clients, associates into clients, and have them excited to come ack as well. I am an upbeat person however I can’t get that to translate in to producing a useful business.

My Story:
Dear Bill, thank you for the opportunity to at least apply for this chance of a life-time.
I have enjoyed several broadcasts which you have delivered and have had an interview with Patrick recently. My story is one of ordinary challenges yet they are perceived by others as great ones.
When I get up in the mornings, I do not have to psych up for the day because it is a habit so ingrained in me that the cares and worries of the night are pushed aside and out comes my figurative sword and back into battle I go, automatically.
In fact, the radiologist who administered the radiation treatment for the Hodgkin’s lymphoma, cancer which had invaded my body in May 2009 said that he wants me to come to his home when I have a program set up and do a presentation to him and his family because I have such a positive attitude. These treatments were completed in December 2009 and were preceded by months of chemo therapy.
By January, 2010, my body was feeling the severe trauma of the side effects of the drugs used to kill off the cancer and every fast producing cell in my body. Losing all of my hair was a concern for a brief time but, soon it made no difference for the other affects were far more intense.
Through this all, I met awesome people who, like me would spend two to three hours every second week being injected with various chemicals at a cost of about $6,000 per session. We’d all sit in the same room and chat if we were able. I always felt that I was the fortunate one as I watched the suffering of others. Sure there were times of blinding pain; but, for the most part it was bearable.
During it all I studied and worked on the internet and decided on something of a new career in personal coaching, speaking and internet marketing. I joined several membership sites and learned what I could. Although the drugs had weakened my heart and caused my left rotator cuff to tear, I could still type and go for walks each day and do some very mild exercise. Now that my body has stabilized, I can feel the strength returning ever so slowly but, surely. My personal affirmation is a powerful one and I truly believe in it.
I have now dropped some of the membership associations due to cost and the fact that I need something greater. Your program holds out such promise.
This year I have reduced my personal debt by more than $150,000 through negotiation and the fact that the bank just declined my loan modification and told me one week ago today that I must get out of the home. It is all in how you look at it.
One of my goals for 2010 is to be totally out of debt and without much income I have achieved more than half of it already and learned a lot in the process. I shall move into a building I converted from a gas station and it is sitting vacant; so life will go on of course.
Specific results I want for my business in the next 12 months include:
1. creating a good reputation and waiting list for my effective coaching programs; which are designed to assist many to re-connect with their dreams and to prepare for and to go for them.
2. I believe that by focusing on effectively blessing lives, the financial will take care of itself. This next year will demonstrate for me the income of a minimum of $6,000 per month average to December 2010 and to an average of $10,000 monthly by June 30, 2011.
3. Everybody needs a good coach and I know full heartedly that I too need someone who has been there and will provide me with some guidance and encouragement too.
The 3 biggest challenges stopping me from getting the results I want:
1. Diffused Focus & Insufficient Accountability. Although I strive to be very focused, without the accountability to someone who understands my coaching goals, I do tend to work hard and not smart enough fairly often.
2. A Refined Niche’ Definition. It seems easy to be too broad in choosing whom we serve and I feel that choosing too broad of a market is a trap which I could use some help in overcoming.
3. Defined Coaching Program. One of the challenges that I have noticed with so many if not most of the newer coaches with whom I have had some contact is that they lack a definiteness of purpose with regard to what they will teach. I suffer in this area as well and will be able to refine my position and look forward to sharing an opportunity with other coaches to assist me in my chosen niche.
Benefits of Client Mastery Blueprint:
1. Feedback. One of the best parts of this is the feedback associated with knowing that what I plan to do has the second opinion of someone who has come this way before. They’ve been through these or similar waters before and can help to guide me safely through and on my way. It is interesting but, this is something I may in turn do for my clients. In addition, the other coaches with whom I will associate with will also provide valuable feedback.
2. Support. I intend to dive in within an atmosphere of greater support, knowing that I can get help when I need it. It is like a safety net.
3. Increased Confidence. In a unique way, as long as I put in full effort, you will add what you can to see that I succeed for you have a vested interest in me. Your system works and once more, together, we shall prove that in an outstanding manner, which will be an encouragement to all, for if one with seemingly great disadvantages can do it this well, others will feel: that, surely they can do it too.
4. Greater Odds Of success. I could go on with my list but, let me say that I have the drive and determination and talent to do the job just as a youthful athlete may have and yet, without direction and guidance, they will never achieve their full potential and perhaps may not even last in the game. Similarly, without good coaching, I shall not in the time and given today’s complex market place achieve my full potential if I last in the field. Mediocrity simply will not do.
5. Putting It All Together. Actually getting going with adding many clients and actively producing amazing results and reinventing my life on a higher plane.
Why choose me?
I would hope you would choose me although there are many others who have needs perhaps greater than mine, because, not only will I put in the kind of full committed effort that I have long expected of myself; but, I will give back. I shall bless the lives of other coaches which in turn will help many others in need and I shall also become an effective coach and do much good this way as well.
Another special reason is that my sweet lady has sacrificed to support me through my illness and has been a loving companion and I so desire to succeed in this business and return the blessings to her. You will be happy with your decision and perhaps even happier when you find that I follow your good example in conducting my business in a similar manner, opening the way for others to receive training although their circumstances might have otherwise prevented this. 1. What specific results do I want for my business in 12 Months?
I want to…
A. Feel confident I am in the right niche to develop a full-time coaching practice. I am second guessing my niche as I have had little growth since 2002 and actually have seen my coaching practice decline in revenue. b. to develop a full-time coaching practice grossing $150,000 in revenue in order to support myself and to obtain a group health insurance program for the company.
B. Be using a compelling marketing plan including:
1) an update of my website to the 21st century (several people said they would not pursue me if they went to my website cold) that people will want to come to
2) the development of several webinar presentations and some “free” programs to market my practice.
3) The use of social networking to its most effective ends for a thriving business
C. Offer monthly pro-bono coaching services to inner city service agencies in the Austin District of Chicago, Illinois
D. Work with less stress and for the fun of it, not just for the money.
2. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping me from getting the results I want?
A. The company I worked for was sold. The new company stopped its health plan without notifying its employees and eliminated my position in May. I am uninsurable and my wife has health issues that prevent her from working also rendering her uninsurable, confirmed by several insurance companies. Lack of insurance has become the 800 pound guerilla I carry around which I fight to keep from holding my greatness down.
B. I do not have sufficient revenue to engage a coach at this time to help me with my continued growth and the stumbling blocks.
C. I have uncertainty and doubt that I may not be able to build a sustainable full-time coaching practice in twelve months.

I have been listening to your teleseminars for the last year and have been thoroughly impressed by your candor, content, and success.
Just the other day, I was looking at your client mastery blueprint program knowing it is exactly what I need right now in my business yet I know I cannot afford it financially. I have considerable student loans that are preventing me from investing in any more training/education.
Alas, this opportunity arose! How exciting!
What specific results do you want from your business in 12 months?
• To feel confident in the areas of sales, marketing, and business.
• Create specific products and programs for my niche.
• Have a full private practice with a waiting list.
• Have a clear niche.
• Over $90,000 coming in from my programs, clients, and products.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges that are stopping you from getting the results you want?
The first one is not having a clear path or structure to get from here to there. In other fields, like being a lawyer for example, every step is clearly defined for you. In this field that is not the case. Therefore, I think the client mastery blueprint is a brilliant idea. I need the mentoring and structure that the client mastery blueprint provides.
The second challenge is not having sales or marketing training. I received my Bachelor’s in Community Studies at UCSC and my Master’s in Somatic Psychology at CIIS. I have my Yoga Teacher training Certificate and Massage Therapy Certificates. I am thoroughly steeped in the healing arts but I never received any training on how to have or run my own business. I believe that in order to truly serve as many people as I can I need to become more confident and fluent in sales, marketing, and business.
The third challenge is not having a clear niche. Currently I work with women on career, relationship, financial, and personal growth goals. Underneath those goals the work is self-empowerment, self-love, and self-development. I know that I need a niche that solves a clear problem. It has been challenging to clearly define and articulate my niche.

Why Chosen
This is a very important piece of my self reinvention. I’ve built a successful design, manufacture and wholesale business in San Francisco of 15 years.It was a time of money, awards, speaking and exotic travel. Having come from a fine art background, it was important for me to be regarded as a business woman. I had bankers believe that there is an occasional smart woman but never a smart artist. Because of such skepticism I began speaking to creative (artists, designers, inventors) people about the business of creativity and MBA students about creativity in business. My belief is that building a business is in fact art. You start with a concept, build it and bring it to market. Wildly dynamic. I found that an important strength of my products were in allowing people to feel creative. Everyone needs to feel creative, it is a feeling of being special. It is a part of the journey I want to be a part of. As my business grew, a crippling event happened. My factory in Thailand burned down. It was not something I could fix to continue. I declared bankrupcy. How could I have let this happen, what could I have done? I had failed miserably. I was in financial and emotional ruin. I began to tell stories of ” I didn’t want the stress anymore, I wanted to retire” The shame was bottomless. I could hardly be in public. I was convinced everyone knew I had failed. It has been the hardest thing to overcome in my life. When I broke my neck and was paralyzed for sometime, at least I knew what to do. You learn how to move, walk and be proud of your scars. With the bankcrupcy, the lowest point was finding myself being a receptionist at a poodle parlor. Then having my former sales director bring in her poodle for the works. Again I created a new story. I was bored with being retired and needed to get out of the house. I was fired for not being able to handle the bookkeeping.
Then I ran off to live in my Grandfathers cabin in a town of 100. There no one would know my secret. I worked in the deli scooping ice cream for the tourists. Then I got bucked off my horse and broke my pelvis in 4 places. Screws, plates and a wheelchair. I was convinced I had been very bad in a past life. The wheelchair is gone and after 4 years I have stopped making up stories. I am now at a place where I believe in purpose. I am not scooping ice cream anymore, I now sell Indian jewlrey to the tourists, and find myself in a financial position as if I do. It is time to participate, grow and give. With the Client Mastery Blueprint program I will learn to create again for myself and others.

Dear Bill,
Thank you so much for offering this wonderful opportunity. I have been working at my business for a number of years, but I have had some difficulty as of late with personal health issues and care for our special needs little girl. Let me start by answering your questions first:
• What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
As a coach, I strive to bring out the best in others. I found out long ago that I have an eye for recognizing what others don’t see just yet. I would like to see my business helping hundreds (even thousands if possible) within the next year. I have a few faithful clients and work to attract more each week. I would love to break the six-figure mark as I work towards financial security.
• What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
Time and money are the two biggest issues in building a business. Since I am self-employed, I have to budget both very closely. I work to make the most of each day and dollar to get the best return I can. The third challenge relates to my families daily struggle with our daughter GraceE. She is a joyful little girl diagnosed with CP/ADHD/MR/PDD and Scoliosis. She requires a lot of extra work each day to help feed, dress, and care for her. I spend about 8-10 hrs each week at doctor’s offices for speech/PT/OT and regular check ups (like fitting her back brace). It all goes back to time mastery and following the right blueprint to get things done.
• What are at least 3 benefits of Client Mastery Blueprint will bring to your business and life?
As a coach helping others, I would love to see what a professional like yourself could do to improve my business. I am a firm believer in the power of teamwork. Years ago I was part of a national consulting agency with a team of coaches. Due to the needs of our family, I had to step away to work on my own at a pace that would accommodate our family’s life style. I have tried to be frank with you in this letter. What I haven’t shared is that 9 months ago I fell 17’ off a ladder and shattered my right leg. I spent several weeks (a little over two months) recuperating and seeing doctors. I had to walk with crutches, then a cane, and finally I am now back on both feet. The down time hurt my business, and the care for my daughter GraceE was continual during this time. Regrettably she stepped on my hurt foot many times unknowingly. The financial strain has been harder than imagined. We are basically bankrupt financially. Our saving our gone and we are starting all over again. We are living paycheck to paycheck again. I even had to move out of my office to work from home and save money.

First, thank you for generously offering a full scholarship to students in need. I appreciate the opportunity of applying for it so much.
Question 1
The specific results I’d receive by being able to participate in the Client Mastery Blueprint course are:
1) I’d finally identify my niche/tribe that I can totally commit to and connect with.
2) Having a specific niche, I’d be able to create beneficial, appealing, result yet heart oriented packages for my tribe and also price them to reflect their value.
3) I’d feel comfortable answering the question, “What do you do?” by having a clear elevator pitch I can stand behind, which describes who and how I can help people.
4) I’d fill all the slots on my weekly calendar with clients and have a minimum of 5 free client consultation calls each month.
5) Move forward in revising my out-of-date webpage making it work for me by being service oriented, addressing my prospective and current clients needs.
6) I’d help more clients, who are happy to refer my healing practice to others with similar needs.
7) Thanks to this course, the excellent coaching, group support and participation, I’d have more self-confidence as an entrepreneur. I would no longer feel alone and isolated, but have people to share and brainstorm ideas.
Question 2
Although the Master of Enrollment course provided many useful ideas and tools, one of my main challenges is not having a clearly identified tribe I can commit and connect. This is so huge for me as I’ve given talks to many groups, attended wellness fairs, yet I’m not as or very successful as I know I could be, because I’m not meeting my tribe.
My other biggest challenge is myself and my own fear and lack of confidence as an entrepreneur. I’m sometimes afraid to put myself out there in big and small ways, specifically on the web, social networking, networking in general and on having simple conversations about how I can serve people who might be potential clients. In my work doing hypnotherapy and facilitating personal change, I help other people have confidence, take risks, yet find it exhausting to continually do for myself.
Question 3
Taking the Client Mastery Blueprint Course would result in many benefits, however, the three most important are:
1) As I learn, assimilate and implement the tools offered in this course, I would serve and help so many more people change old habits and release outdated beliefs, acquire skills and learn practical tools to help them feel better about themselves, less stressed and worried and actually able to create the life of their dreams.
2) Personally I, the people in my life and my cat would benefit because by having a thriving business I’d feel more fulfilled, peaceful, fun, confident, caring and able to give even more than I do now. I’d also be able to enjoy life more, take care of my health and save for future years.
3) As I reach more clients and others, in person and via the many avenues on the Internet by having a service-oriented, informative webpage, more people can feel greater self love, relaxation and optimism, and this will create a beneficial effect for their families, co-workers, neighbors, community bringing greater healing, peace and love for all.
Question 4
I want to serve others with all my heart and am willing to fully participate in all aspects of the Client Mastery Blueprint course, devoting the time and energy needed to learn and implement the curriculum presented to grow my healing practice.
I’ve been struggling for the last 5 years, doing part-time admin work, using savings, doing without all extras and many essentials, and still barely surviving. Yet it’s the pain and frustration in my heart about not reaching the people who could benefit by working with me, that hurts the most. I’m so tired of having incredible tools and gifts to offer others, particularly those who feel negative and suffer from low self-esteem, because I don’t know how to reach them. Because my business is struggling, I get worried about surviving and too often feel I’m barely treading water. Patrick Dominguez summed up my situation perfectly on my half hour call when he said, “the shoemaker’s children go barefoot.” His words of truth about my business brought tears when they hit home for that is exactly what is happening.
As much as I wish I could afford to pay for what I know is a fabulous course, I cannot at this time. I so appreciate the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. Here are the specific results I intend to generate in the next 12 months because I have successfully completed your program:
• Develop a lead generation product in the first 45 days
• Research and write 3 – 5 white papers that will get into the mind of my prospects and position me as an expert in as an expert Call Center Turnaround Coach
• Build my list to capture at least 5% of the available buying units in my potential niche (about 2755)
• Develop a blog that specifically focuses on the challenges faced by Call Center owner acquired over from 15 years of working in the industry at all levels of management
• Generate 10 solid business coaching clients at $1500.00/$3000.00 each (my coaching will focus on the executive staff of each company)
• Develop two courses for the Call Center Community
• Create a live streaming show on the internet that answer critical questions and establishes me as the expert in the niche
• Develop a full day seminar that enrolls clients magnetically into my program and move to group coaching model for the do it yourself crowd.
• Create a free coaching program for high school kids locally that will teach them the strategies of entrepreneurship once a week.
• Pay it forward—give a full scholarship to my sold out high end coaching program.
As I thought a lot about the biggest challenges your program would help me solve, this is the major things that kept coming up for me when I was able to be still and listen to the voice within:
• Discover an effective way of closing new business consistently. The last four strategy sessions have resulted in zero new clients. I have been using a method that worked well for solo-preneurs for many years from a colleague of yours. However, in recent times the other system is not robust enough to consistently generate enough pain for my prospects to take action now. Although they agree that my services would be really valuable to them. Ouch! In each case they went out and found a coaching company paid them substantially more money and within three months called me back explaining why they should have went with me, but there is no longer a budget for coaching. Don’t you relize, solving this one challenge alone would completely change my current financial situation based on the size of the companies?
• Develop a complete system that attracts clients through the whole process of bringing them logically/emotionally to a position where I can start a relationship that will last a long time. Since I have no real website to speak of, no marketing materials and nothing in the way of a professional presentation; I am amazed that my business thrived for seven years until the middle of 2008. A shift has occurred, my newer prospects want a REAL web presence, cause for some reason that means it is a REAL business, in spite of the fact I can give them a rolodex of satisfied clients that have benefited from my work.
• Strategically go after a defined niche, over the past seven years my clients have come from over 31 industries. No real focus at all. While there are some similarities (solo-preneurs), they have no real connection in terms of a defined niche and I have struggled with this ambiguity for many years, but never addressed it sense I was making great money as a coach. It would be amazing to move from a hobby (inconsistent cash flow) to a real business (system that generates consistent results and lifestyle) that creates a situation where I can take care of my family comfortably. I’m sure you can identify with the level of uncertainty that comes from not knowing how the bills will be paid this month
It would be amazing if I could use this program as a catalyst for manifesting these things in my life over the next year:
• Donate 15K from gross revenues to C.A.N. (Children’s Aids Network). This is the cause that is near and dear to my heart. I have been volunteering with them for more than 15 years and last year was the 1st year was the first year I was not able to support my favorite cause financially.
• Facilitate a bridge back to my kids. I lost a majority of my access to my children because my income was reduced 90%; and it has been difficult as their mother has decided to BE difficult … as a way of being. Bottom-line they fuel me to work hard daily to restore my integrity as a father. The most difficult thing for a man to deal with is not being able to provide for his family. I have a burning desire to restore my integrity internally and with my children. My greatest hope… this program will be a GIANT step in that process.
• Being essentially homeless makes all of these things more challenging; luckily I have friends who are willing to let me share their space for now. I can still remember the pain of having a strategy session with Patrick and remembering how excited I was—and within twenty minutes of getting off the call… I was sitting on the park bench crying uncontrollably, because only 24 months ago I would have laughed at how inexpensive the whole program was to participate at the highest level. I literally scrambled everywhere looking for the money to become involved in the program only to be met with crushing defeat and not finding the resources to get into your program. I don’t EVER want to feel that sense of helplessness again. Doesn’t it make sense, to encourage the rebirth of a father’s restoration as a powerful family man?
I have no way of knowing why I should be chosen over all of the other entries; each of our struggles is unique and deeply personal. I can only tell you these four things:
• I believe I am at a point where I have enough pain to know I never want to be this financial situation ever again. This program would provide overwhelming inspiration, support and accountability that will guarantee my success in a way that is not possible now.
• It will also allow me to fulfill one of my biggest passions (C.A.N.). There is nothing that gives me greater joy other than the agape I feel when I am with my kids. My heart skipped a beat when I read FULL scholarship for “Client Mastery Blueprint”. I gratefully listened to the “Get More Clients” call last week and while I was feverishly taking notes I thought of how powerful it would be to be coached by you with this system…. but how I wondered? The beauty of simply asking the question instead of belittling myself with excuses is that an opportunity arose.
In the next 12 months I want to establish a genuinely passionate relationship with my tribe of female business owners. I want to deliver a valuable experience to these women that enables them to take control of their health and wellbeing. I want to educate my tribe on the power of their own mind and how hypnosis can help them look better, work smarter and feel great. I want to create a marketing strategy that cuts through the masses and speaks directly to my tribe and engages them to take action. I want to work an effective system with priorities first that helps me to consistently achieve results. I want a website that attracts my tribe and delivers the information they seek. I want to use my creativity and skills to be more innovative and successful. I want all aspects of my business to work synergistically together to produce $50,000 in the next 12 months, 1% of which will be given to the environment. As a recent ‘09 college graduate I felt that I had all the resources I needed to pursue my dreams and create a successful hypnotherapy practice. I didnt understand until she explained that by not valuing myself enough to charge for my services and by giving away my help and support, I was going to end up totally broke and financially destitute which would mena i woudl have to find a full time JOB and leave my business behind and htat was so so wrong of me and so selfish as I have a gift and can help people to change their lives and turn them around. I then understood why it was selfish of me to struggle and to not charge for my services, and am now in the position where I do value my services, my products , my skills na dmy gift and want to offer it to the people out there that I can touch in their hearts and who I can help to change their lives and create their future dreams and visions and Iknow that this programme will give me those steps, those actions and that direction I need to be able to do this.

Not knowing what methods work best to attract clients. Lacking this knowledge, I have learned some things through trial and error, but the process is painfully slow and frustrating. I’d like to answer the last question first. Why is it that you should be chosen?
I guess I would say that I have a passion and burning desire to help others in a significant way to have them find true peace and fulfillment in their lives.

This work is so needed on this planet and so transformational, I am highly skilled at it having been involved in it for over 30 years yet I feel like such a failure at marketing and getting more clients. I have spent over $7,000.00 in website costs, on CD/DVD marketing programs that promised amazing results, but were full of hype and over-promised and found many of these programs lacked a significant ingredient: one-to-one work with an experiences mentor.
I have taken your MASTERY OF ENROLLMENT course and found, of any of the courses I have taken, it was the best. To be honest though, I feel I have been burned. (not by you) With all the money I have spent I still make a meager income and I feel like I cannot trust another one of these high priced coaching programs. I work hours and hours in my business with little results.
Your course was excellent and initially I got great results but I did not develop the right habits to sustain the results and I have gotten bogged down. I am 60 years old now and I feel like this offer is the last kick at the can for me. I cannot spend another significant $2-3000.00 with a money-back guarantee again and not get significant results.
I am clear I need a longer period of personal coaching from someone that is down-to-earth, authentic and genuinely cares for people i.e. YOU. - Happy, running my business each day giving much to the community and where I’m well paid and not overworked. Enjoying a combination of telephone/virtual and in person events/touring. I have rolled out a number of passive income products that are selling very well too.
- A long and growing list of video, audio and written testimonials to share with prospects. Or, perhaps as important, surveys that capture examples of results we can point to with percentages/success rates.
- A waiting list AND a significant number of ongoing and REPEAT clients.

II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
- Need to get clear a more attractive/compelling brand along with WHICH sub-niche wants/will pay for the service, and with a system in place that consistently finds those prospects and communicates my value in a way that is irresistible.
- Lack of clarity as to which LIVE programs/services to deliver/how to structure it.
- Administrative and time/space/energy for me to pull together my information products/passive income products, package them and get them out there.
I think one of my biggest obstacles has been experimenting ‘too much’. Switching things. Perhaps not setting a one year plan and sticking to it for the whole year?

On a very personal level, I’ve been building my dream business, which is also my legacy, for almost 10 years now. It’s time. I’ve earned my stripes. I’ve stuck it out through a bear of an economy. This is to be my legacy.
On a larger level, what I do is immensely important to the community. I’m helping couples avoid breaking up/divorce and helping prevent the great pain to parents and families that can occur, helping singles choose life partners wisely, helping individuals improve their lives. As my company grows, I can put more people to work, paramount in today’s economy.

2. No more than 3 clients at a time (the scope of work I undertake makes it very difficult to effectively handle more than this)

1. My focus is neither coaching nor consulting. It is research. The expectation is that one sets up a non-profit think tank in order to receive grant funding. I don’t want that approach. I want to be recognized as a leading independent expert who think tanks and others contract.
2. Zero money (does negative cash flow count)?
3. How to build a business while simultaneously working on a PhD? Was facing the “you don’t have a PhD hurdle” but just got accepted into the PhD Leadership program at Alliant University’s Marshall Goldsmith School of Management (San Diego). Now I need to learn how to leverage this.

I believe in synchronicity and that is exactly what this feels like. I have gone to your ‘Client Mastery Blue Print’ page on and off all day, since hearing your recording this morning with David Steele. I have been hanging out reading a bit more each time. I really feel drawn to the program yet the timing is not right to spend the money. I ended up on your web site and was more impressed than ever. I loved everything about it. Your wording, your coaching video, etc. I really felt like I was in the right place. The energy felt like a match. Then wham, I found this page to sign up for a scholarship on the last day it is offered. I have a huge passion for coaching. I was led to it in a synchronistic way also. Long story short I came down with very bad allergies and began taking another new medicine every time I saw the doctor. After taking over 7 medicines 2x a day and still getting worse, I decided there had to be a better way. I went on-line to search for holistic remedies and learned about life coaching. I had never heard of life coaching before but after a bit of research I was enrolled at Coach U within a month. I have never looked back. Getting in tune with what I loved to do along with better food choices etc. I am happy to report I now only take one medicine half a dose once a day. Coaching is my passion and with all my heart I want a thriving coaching business. I currently work at another job 4-day a week and coach evenings, weekends and Wednesday from early morning to evening. I have done this along with extensive training for 5-years now and would love to be able to coach full time and give up the ‘JOB’. My husband would love to see me once in a while also. I am currently going for my CUCG in August (Coach U certification) and shortly after that my PCC. I really want all the hard work I have put into this coaching to finally pay off. I took the big leap recently and declared a niche only to have it back fire on me so I could really use your expertise.

I would like to have two to five clients at all times
I would like to do public speaking a minimum of 2 times a year.
I would like my monthly income to vary between $2000 and $4000 per month. (starting to pay for college for my first son.)
I will continue to grow my specialized knowledge of green interior materials with the goal of being the local industry expert on what is possible and available.
There are many benefits of my business that must continue as I grow. I will offer amazing customer care and creative solutions. I will have a flexible schedule so that I can also care for my extended family (I am the go to person in my family for elder care and still have one son at home that struggles with dyslexia.)
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
I have many roles in my life, balancing them and prioritizing the non client parts of work.
Expressing and communicating confidence and value to wealthy clients.
Getting to the point where I have face to face consultation with a potential client, It takes constant marketing, and I am never sure which avenues lead to results and which do not, as the benefits are so long term for the kind of client relationship that leads to working together.

It would help me to the point where I am interacting and having the opportunity to offer solutions to potential clients.

I feel so strongly that I am on the cusp of change with my business. I have so many of the pieces in place, I know I provide valued and high quality service. I feel such happiness every time I get to work with a customer and bring beauty and functionality to their life.

In 12 months, I see myself facilitating Mastermind Groups for SB owners and entrepreneurs, have strong on-line presence through Marketing and Sales e-course, blog, website, e-marketing; I also see myself conducting seminars and workshops for SB owners, entrepreneurs and network marketers and last but not least, I see myself having created a home study program.

A. I want a thriving business with a minimum of 25 one on one regular clients per month (with a waiting list behind that!)
B. I wish to conduct multiple group/conference sessions per month
C. I would like for my newsletter to be effortless and regular
D. I would like to have a proper advertising method that I can rely on and trust.

I hate the idea of wasting my time!
A.) This is my first time launching myself independently and I don’t have any business experience or background and do not know how to go about getting and retaining clients. I feel several of my attempts have been futile.
B.) There are so many “help guides” out there, for beginning a business, that when I search for help in the end I just feel overwhelmed and paralysis and inefficiency takeover.
C.) Making the transition from a free introductory call to paying customers
D.) Knowing where to advertise
E.) I’m a perfectionist, so if I’m going to do something, I have to be 100% sure of things. It can be a great thing, but it’s also slowed me down.

Thanks for offering this full scholarship program. I have tasted success in tennis in the past and it was awesome. I learned tennis by watching tournaments on tv and a course at the Y. As my passion continues in the 20s and 30s I met people who coached me. I learned from them. As I played college tennis and beyond in the USTA I joined teams that had coaches helping the players. It took lots of hours and hard work and dedication. Coaches took me higher in my game than I ever thought I could.
The results I want for my business in the next 12 months are many. I desire a thriving life. I have spent many hours on few group coaching calls and free teleseminars. I desire my business to generate a six to seven plus income. The business to completely support me. To own my own house with a room specifically for the business and possibility an office out of the house. I desire to take a vacation and travel to anyplace I want when I want to. In other words, financial freedom. I created the business from nothing and supported it by working in hourly hospitality position or elderly homecare overnight positions and in my spare time working on the business which I can see the homecare was hurting the business. I have a college degree but never was able to finanically capitalize on it.
I have such a passion for event planning. The actual day of the event I as the event enfolds I get tears in my eyes and even though I put in a 15 hour plus day coordinating and assisting in breakdown I hit my pillow smiling. The next day I receive such a high energy feeling, I have take a walk to calm down from the feeling of walking on clouds. Its awesome. The feeling breaks when reality sets in and I look at the obstacles and the issues in front of me. Being in thrive mode, with the financial resources supporting me and the business would be awesome. Having all my marketing working for me and paying people to assist me with the business.
The two to three biggest challenges are financial isssues, myself, and lack of personal coaching. Financial - I work on the side to support the business and me and not able yet to get business funding. As result marketing I purchased and have is used to the upmost. The second myself, I have worked on personal development for years to build my self worth and realized I am very creative and exhibit ADHD symptoms. I can get caught up in Facebook, emails and teleseminars. Plus I sabotage myself and get caught in bad choices. I decided to get in bridal shows and committed to them then situation comes up, no formal structure for folowthroughs in place so result, received one wedding from it and debt for all the financial outlays to make spectacular booths. The third challenge is not knowing how to put structures in place. Finding coaching that helped me for 15 minutes and wanted me to purchase high dollar programs. I know and believe in coaching. As I said above, individual personal coaching help draw qualities out of me to win tennis tournaments. I am seeking personalized coaching so I can grow into the successful business women I have inside and grow our businesses together. I am a team player and need structure and accountability, a holding my hand environment. Group coaching was financially feasible but the group approach didn’t have accountability and I wasn’t able to build a foundation for the business. I know how to do events? I want help learning the business of it. My passion leads me to discounting prices and taking projects as a growth for cost of decor only.

This increase will allow me to pursue my dream buy my own home, travel and be in thriving mode. I put efforts in growing my business but without coaching the momentum is lost and have to start over again. I am committed this year to grow this business, to really help brides that are lost in the great day process. Its a jigsaw puzzle. My spiritual approach I am learning applied to my clients helps them overall in the process. Plus, as I am in the growth curve others follow my lead. I am seeing this in social media. To sum this up, like Michael Gerber a person needs to work on the busines and not always in the business. The benefits of this scholarshop program would allow me to work on the business. Having a coach like you you has experience wealth and low sales would help me achieve a life that works with me instead of against me or compromises my personal time for work.
I should be chosen for many reasons. Number one is I have never experienced great wealth in life, many people have it all but want more so they could afford your program and invest in themselves. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I am about to launch the website for BE SEEN BOLDLY, a service that helps small business owners and entrepreneurs bring their message to life online. I’ve spent a decade developing a valuable skill-set and system that enables my clients to create powerful and authentic web presences (through their websites, blogs, mailing lists, videos, social media accounts, and more). I’ve designed the site, created my packages, and gotten lots of positive feedback, but I don’t know how to fill my programs.
- Fill the first 10 spots in my 3-Month Your Unique Media Coaching Program—deliver incredible service and value—then continue to refine and evolve the program so I can easily fill it every 3 months.
- Get 2 clients a month for my $7500 done-for-you web presence package.
- Have a vibrant referral system in place to bring in new clients from my existing client base.
- Be able to hire an in-person or virtual assistant to take some of the administrative and research responsibilities of my hands and free me to really focus on what I do best.
- Get into a cycle of sending out my blog and newsletter bi-monthly to build relationships. Have 5000 people on the Be Seen Boldly mailing list.

What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
I’ve managed teams and projects for years, but I’ve never had my own company and been in charge of doing the marketing, sales, and business development myself. I believe in what I have to offer, but I’m not comfortable with having sales conversations, establishing my value, and converting prospects into clients. I’m also not sure how to write my copy and pitch my services in a way that they’re irresistible to entrepreneurs who are stressed out and overwhelmed by media and technology and don’t know how to set up their websites, mailing lists, and online content in a way that attracts and engages their ideal clients. I really need to build my confidence in this area so I can actually make a living doing what I love and helping lots of people at the same time.
I have a handful of long-term freelance clients that are paying me an hourly rate far below my worth, but I have to continue working for them at that rate to support myself until I can build BE SEEN BOLDLY to the point where I don’t have to. While I spend every free minute I have building my business, I know I could get further faster if I could just bring in a handful of clients at my new rates and delegate some of the lower-value work.

The biggest benefit Client Mastery will give me is the confidence to overcome my fear of marketing and sales and authentically connect with potential clients in a way that allows them to say yes. After talking initially with Patrick, I was excited to see the rollout of the Client Mastery Blueprint program, but as I’d feared it’s financially out of reach, so this would be a great opportunity to really get my business off on the right foot!
I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
In 12 months I would like to have a dozen or more completed contracts with testimonials from satisfied and succesful clients posted on my website, with at least as many current clients and more in the pipeline. I would like to be in a solid financial situation, able to more than make ends meet, to afford joining the Chamber of Commerce, to have my software updated and working without a hitch. I would like to be known in my market as the go-to person for small to medium sized businesses needing to revitalize their communications and marketing strategies.

Thanks for making this available. I’ll be answering the questions out of order for logic and clarity. I am a “keep dreaming” coach, dedicating my efforts to those individuals who have dreams that they’ve lost site of or that seem unreachable, and helping them to get their dreams back into vision. Then together we can create a plan to make them a reality.
I came to this business as an answer to my own dream. I was a business coach for entrepreneurs and small businesses - a nitch I fell into. I was doing pretty well and then I had a stroke. My business was closed down overnight. That was seven years ago.
For all these years, I’ve been unable to work and living on Soc.Sec. Disability Income (SSDI). I am finally physically well enough to do something, and mentally exicited to help others follw their pssions and dreams (something I wasn’t doing before the stroke).
I’ve obtained a domain name - DareToKeepDreaming - although the site isn’t up yet. I’ve started to identify my tribe (not quite clear) and my offerings. My biggest challenges have to do with technology and the internet. I want to do marketing online, group programs with teleseminars and webinars, and group coaching. This will be easier on me physically, and allow me to serve more people in less time. But I haven’t a clue. So much has changed in 7 years, and it’s a different model than one-on-one coaching and in person networking I used to do. I also have ideas for products, but again I’m not sure how to create or market them.
My goal/specific resut that I want within a year is to be making a six figure income and easily get off SSDI. I am single and want my life back, while doing the work of my dreams and showing others that they can too.

Hello My name is Alex Francois
I have been working within the construction industry my whole life, and my experiences have leaded me into a specialized niche of workforce development. My story is why I am so passionate about this work, therefore I need to summarize my pathway, so the passion is clear.
I am a first generation Haitian and I grew up in NY trying to access a union job in NYC as a young man. At the time it was difficult to access a union position without a network, guidance and mentoring on what I should do.
So I worked as a scab laborer with no benefits, no safety training, and more importantly no career track. I enjoyed the work, but I wanted more, so I went to college to study Construction Management. The unions like to say “People don’t think about the union anymore and they go to college instead of thinking about the trades.” That was not the case for me; I made continual attempts to join the carpenters union, the electricians union and the elevators union.
After I graduated with a Bachelors Degree I started working for Habitat for Humanity rebuilding homes destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in Miami Florida. I was than bitten by the non profit bug, and found extreme joy providing my construction skills to help people in need.
I left Florida to work in Georgia as a carpenter for the Olympics and I was approached by union members to join the carpenters union in Atlanta. I took the opportunity because I knew how difficult it was to get into a union in NY, and I wanted a career in the construction sector.
I was told that as a union member with an up to date union card, I could pursue work any where in the US and Canada. After the Olympics, it was known that the Bay Area had a lot of work due to the dot com growth, so I traveled to the Bay area to pursue work.
I arrived here only to be disappointed with no solid mentoring and guidance. I was unable to access jobs long term jobs, and laid off because I was not from a particular neighborhood. I was confused by this because I was told I could work anywhere with a union card. I struggled to find a company who wanted to be loyal to me the way I wanted to be loyal to them. I later realized they were hiring me for the color of my skin to meet local hire goals.
Down on my luck I went to a service at Glide Memorial church to seek inspiration in a new city. I realized they were going to be developing a 52 unit apartment complex for homeless people, so I volunteered to help build it, but they offered me a job as a project intern. Luckily I had a degree in construction management to fall back on.
During the time on the project Glide asked me to help them start a pre-apprenticeship training program that would assist community residents gain access to the work. I was very excited about the opportunity, and this was 14 years ago, and we had an 85% retention rate, with 35% female working, and 95% placement.
This was when I realized my niche, so I continued to work for various non profits and found a niche with Start-ups, which really suited me for my entrepreneurial spirit and assisting developers with their local hire goals.
Most recently I left a position with the SF Mayors office after assisting them start a new construction training program writing policies and procedures and performing job development. I was the leading Employment Liaison averaging 30 placement per month.
I left that position June 2009 to start my own consulting firm called

I started my business on a shoestring budget of $6,000. with a life time of experience in the construction industry and a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse NY., I had a solid vision not on paper
The past 14 years I have worked for my competitors who are the SF Mayors Office of economic workforce development and the elite Non-profits in the Bay Area who do workforce development for the construction industry
I realized that between the Mayors office and the Non profits, there was no RETENTION work being done for all of the residents we assisted with acquiring a job, therefore a 50% drop out rate. Nationally speaking there are only 8% women represented in the trades, and for minorities the statistics are not much better.
I drafted a concept of the services and provided it to two General Contractors, and they both expressed a strong desire to start.
100% growth
My first contract was valued at $40K for two years, and I have my second client working on a retainer as they acquire additional work I provide services as they acquire new projects. So far its been 1 year with them as well and I have made close to $100k with them so far.
Marketing Plan
I need a marketing plan as a course to follow with a pipeline of jobs. I need a 30 seond pitch, 3 minute pitch, 30 minute pitch. I speak to contractors and they say I wish I knew about you a few months ago, or we can use this in a year when the projects are approved.
Developers who borrow public funds to build a project are required by city laws, state laws and sometimes federal laws to hire local residents and maintain 50% of the workforce for local residents. Currently most of the projects are publically funded with stimulus monies. The compliance officers fiscally penalize contractors by withholding funds from them when they do not perform, and do not allow them to access future jobs. Sophisticated communities initiate wildcat strikes to stop construction until they see representatives of their community working.
I do have a good start with Business card, brochures, and a website, but due to the success I am having and evolution of new services I can do, I need time and money to recreate additional marketing material with a list of new services.
I need to get published include some YouTube videos of my workshops, recreate my brochures, and create a more targeted approach for the long term contracts that are in the design phase.
Business Plan
I need to a blue print that I can confidently present to a staff. This will obviously help us to maintain a course of action with deadlines. I do not want to remain stagnant and secure with a few contracts, but to grow the business and expand it to other cities experiencing the same challenges.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
Challenge #1
I am still a one man shop, and I can not grow without hiring additional staff, and take on more clients. Catch 22, because I need more work to hire more staff. I have to be able to scratch out a living as I do the administrative work, marketing, and billable activities.
Challenge #2
I am clear on what my strengths and weakness are, but I have to rely on consultants to assist me, but I do not always have the capitol to give them more work when I need there services. To have good growth I need to have them working more consistently.
Challenge #3
Choosing the best marketing strategy and implementing it.
Analyzing the cost of marketing vs. the cost of acquiring business.
Going after the lowest hanging fruit and working up the tree

My competition is mainly non-profits Government and Community Based Organizations.
Govt is overburdened with bureaucracy and CBO’s have a high turnover rate due to the non-completive salaries they offer. To be an effective job developer in the construction sector, you need 7 years or more.
You have to an understanding of the collective bargaining agreements employers are bonded to. Good relationships with union officials, good understanding of moving people in and out of the union. You also need to have a good understanding of the construction industry and language. You also need to have the confidence with the CBO’s if you are going to make cross referrals with their clients. CBO’s need be confident in your experience before placing their clients into your hands “Street credibility”
Lastly, most case managers have a background in social work and not construction, and most construction people have backgrounds in construction not social work. There is always a lot of animosity between the public sector and private sector when performing local hire. They are not accustom to each others needs and language. I act as a bridge for the two.
My mission is to enable clients to reduce key staff time allocated to compliance issues and achieve maximum compliance through a strategic hiring plan. Clients can leverage my expertise in the workforce arena and my community ties in order to meet and exceed local hire goals while reducing cost and eliminating fiscal penalties.

I act as a bridge between the private sector and public sector.
Based on our in house pro-active approach to local hire, I have participated with them on interviews with potential developers and assisted my current client win new projects valued up to $200M.

I have a really good start but I need a boost to take me to the next level. I have all of the pieces to work with, I just need help puzzling it together, and I know I would be a great case study for you to promote as well.

On this July 1, 2011, I am so grateful for my 20 private clients and the waiting list of people who wish to work with me. I am grateful for their commitment and courage to move forward in their personal and professional lives. As I work with my clients my little self (ego) continues to step out of the way as I co create with my inner wisdom, higher self and Spirit, just the right tool comes forward in service to my clients needs. We create a beautiful dance together. My life is enriched as I serve and grow with my clients. Through this work we are all releasing issues and limiting beliefs that no longer serve us and grow and heal in ways that lead to more joy, peace and loving in the world. My clients soar to heights beyond their dreams.

Two of the big three for everyone, (time & money) permission I am good with
1. Time – I have a lot on my plate and believe in having it all, it’s not an either or conversation for me. I do know however that one person can only accomplish so much in any given day. My story is much like others that have posted, I am in the process of supporting my former spouse who has liver cancer (and today we are officially on the Liver Transplant List woohooo) I have moved twice in the last year to be with family (mom in Utah and Daily) who were in need of health and financial support and I am the one who gets things done, besides I’m pretty easy going and fun to be around, non-judgmental and always meet other where they are at. I am honored to be where I am at and I know that some days there just isn’t enough time to get it all done. I am great at prioritizing, have a successful business background. I keep my agreements, promises and am a commitment junkie however I am running on very little rest or relaxation. This isn’t to say it’s hard it’s quite the opposite I am passionate about everything I do in my life which makes it all easy however I haven’t mastered collapsing time just yet. An assistant, new tools and the community and support Bill Baren Coaching offers would be create a huge open space for me to let go and get going
2. Money – Again, times are increasingly putting a crunch on money. I’ve never really had a money conversation I’ve always got it or not. I do know however that I’ve spent a lot in my moves this year and am fortunate to have a contract with a coaching institute that allows me to be in an environment with others who take on their lives and are mirrors for me, they allow me the space to learn and grow and support me in all areas of my life. Saying that, I don’t have two dollars to my name some days – long term I am financially secure, immediate today can be a grapple at times. I trust there is learning for me in this area and would believe they are tied to trusting myself and my abilities and moving from the environment of being always in service to other to being about what my own vision is. I know I am a fantastic coach, I have plenty of evidence of that, I am the only person who has contracted independently for the past 3 + years with the same company. I am great at enrollment, attracting clients for others, a human connector of people however, my dad always said you’ve got to have some money to make money and that is where I need to shift.
3. My barrier to performance is trust, trusting myself (and trusting that my powerfulness is why others are attracted to me and honestly that there is a bit of fear tied to “what if” I succeed OMG then what? I also know that won’t stop me from taking on my life and as one of my mentors always say’s Playing a Bigger Game, this is my bigger game I know it and want to expand my horizon’s and work with those I consider the “experts” in the field.

This is the most difficult for me to write about, why? Why is it that you should be chosen?
I am extremely coachable and committed to my success in the Client Mastery Blueprint. I just received my Master Business Coaching Certification, and am also in the process of getting my ICF certification. I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
To fulfill my current cash-flow projections by filling my pipeline with the ‘right’ people so that I get the butts in the seat to achieve the monthly projections I have had outlined since the end of 2008. I have the plan or outline, I am just falling short on getting the ‘right’ people into the pipeline and enrolling them to yes. I am frustrated that I haven’t gotten to my goals yet, I want to up-level. My list is building, my brand is solid, my website is great and my message is good.
I want to quadruple the size of my list currently at 734, not including my social media lists. The caveat is, I want the ‘right people’ on my list who are actively engaged with me and my services.
I want an average of 24,000 a month in sales and services so that my will husband have the ability to leave his State Government job and pursue his dream of freely advocating for the well-being and vibrant lifestyle of people with Disabilities.
I want to have a waiting list for services so that I can bring in other heart-centric passionate catalysts for transformation to serve my list in a way that builds other careers.
I want to be the leading resource for breaking through communication barriers, breaking down mindset and shattering limiting beliefs.
I want 4-6 paid speaking opportunities a month, inspiring action and shifting perspective. These will be a great display for my product offerings and programs. I have appreciated what you have said about doing free speaking gigs, and I know that works too. The pay can come up-front or at the back of the house, I just want the platform!
I want a full product line that supports the messages that I speak about and coach around so that I have a robust online store and presence as a subject matter expert. From that I want to generate 1/3 of my revenue at minimum each month.
Personally, I want a business that accommodates my desire for travel abroad and takes good care of my family’s needs without worry or concern. I want to go to Greece with my daughter and on a 10 day Belize vacation with my husband.
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
Bottom-line, the clarity and know-how to take me from where I am to where I know I am to be. I see my projections, I have them mapped out on a time line, and I am stumbling having the right conversations with the ‘right’ people and getting them to their own yes. I seem to be a great ‘free’ resource.
Perfectionism would be my #2 challenge. I hesitate to flip certain switches because I am not sure that “it” is perfect or ‘just right’. And to be transparent, the funny thing is I have this conversation with my own clients all the time! Take my own medicine? Oh the story I have playing in my head! There is a lot to be said for getting ‘it’ out there vs. waiting for the seal of perfect approval that may never come. So when is good, good enough? I need help identifying this for myself.
#3 is a challenge and some may say it’s the opportunity. I am a Go-Giver in the truest sense. I love to give to the benefit of other people and do so willingly. I have the ability to assess at the 50k foot level what is happening in a short time, then I start giving the potential client the details. I share ideas, tasks, must-haves etc. all within the free consultation time. And, I will go back with more. What happens then is that these people say, “Thanks Tammy, we are going to take your ideas and implement. We appreciate your time.” So I guess I need a pause button that supports my enthusiasm to give and the clients need to learn. It’s time to stop overwhelming people and give in a way that supports them.
III. What are at least 3 benefits Client Mastery Blueprint will bring to your business and your life?
I Love what you said on your site “REALLY know how to attract clients, so that you know exactly how to attract all the clients you want as often as you want for as long as you want.” This is what I want! This benefit will get me to my goal. It’s about attracting people who want to pay for my services and not just keep coming to the well and taking a dip for free. I know I allow it, and I know it’s time to change that. What I am not clear on is how, that’s where the Client Mastery Blueprint comes in!
I know that people fall in love with me and when they work with me they love my services too. I want more of those people, less hunting and more attracting/inviting the opportunity. Again to be transparent, I am a bit weary of the continual hunt and gather approach. The one-to-one has me down, I want the one-to-many approach to take over. Additionally, I love, love love the idea of having my pipeline so full that I am filling other people’s pipeline with business. That would be a great blessing to me and a dream come true.

I could write a lot about me and who I am and what I’m all about by way of introduction. Suffice it to say I’m a “Mompreneur” who started my own online business one year ago. Prior to that time I was in a network marketing company that was mostly networking training and no marketing training. I decided I really did want to be my own boss and create a business I am very passionate about. What a journey!!
That journey led me to your call and now I anticipate participating in your coaching program…

Challenges that stop me from getting what I want:
Marketing Savvy on the Internet ~ I’ve spent thousands of dollars to learn the ins and outs of internet marketing and have yet to find what works for me. I have created websites and blogs and been a part of the social networking scene but so far I have not really marketed anything. I want clear direction on this!
Competing Commitments ~ I am a Mother… those who are Mothers understand about this competing commitment! Have you ever heard the term “Mompreneur”? That is my title as of the past 4 years!!
I am a great organizer and list maker… Yet I feel pressured and somewhat challenged when I set goals, plan my day, and then I do not reach those goals. I have been told by many that I have very high expectations of myself and then when I do not meet these expectations I am hard on myself. I have improved greatly in this area, however, I really want to know how to set goals and reach them and plan my day and make it happen!
I have many many ideas but not sure how to put it all together. After the call the other night I came up with several new ideas for packages to offer on my website that I have been working on.

I know my tribe of grieving parents who have experienced the death of a baby or young child is waiting for me… and not only that… I have so much compassion and love to give them! I have experienced what they are going through and it’s tough! It’s very tough! Tough enough that 90% of all parents who experience the death of a baby or young child do not stay together and their marriage ends in divorce. Tough enough to know what it feels like when it seems you are the only one who remembers your baby on special occasions or any occasion. I have been in the place they are; searching to find that something special that would help them create meaning in what happened. I have talked to funeral home directors that would love to have support materials to give to grieving parents; especially those who have experienced the death of a young child! There isn’t much support available out there! I care deeply about these people and they know it and respond to it. I am passionate about supporting them as they create meaning about what happened so they can keep moving forward in healing their hurting heart. My purpose in life is to make a difference in people’s lives. I feel so alive when I know I am making a difference!
The past two years have been a time of great discovery for me. I have learned many things from many teachers. I believe when the student is ready the teacher will appear. I am ready. I am prepared to follow through, and be an active and fully committed participant in this program. I look forward to the challenge and anticipate the knowing that will come from what I learn and do thereby leaving all frustrations behind!!
I love the challenge of learning new things and have felt the frustrations of not knowing what it takes to make Good Grief and You into a successful business. One other thing I’d like to share… the idea for my business was one I’ve thought about for a long time. At first I was resistant to the idea because I wasn’t sure I wanted to go back to that point in time and remember what it was really like to be there again. God kept bringing this to my mind and when I finally decided to go for it I knew it was much bigger than I am. Once I said, Yes, Lord, I will do this… He sent me so many ideas about how to reach out I am not sure how I will ever exhaust all the ideas He sends. The amazing thing is it has not been painful…as I thought it might be. It has been very healing. I will keep going because I believe it is going to change lives and make a difference. That’s what keeps me going. Knowing I can make a difference!

Hello Bill,
I was just going over the email you sent for a full scholarship to your program. It is now 11:19pm and the deadline is midnight. I almost did not respond because I don’t have a lot of time to process my entry. So far I have accepted every opportunity to further my efforts that are within my means even if it meant going out on a limb or making a sacrifice.
I can’t even imagine how many entries you have received. I am sure they are involved and amazing. This one is simple but honest. Like you said, I win either way.
- I want a business that is professional, profitable and REAL. I want my business to have a foundation to stand on. I want to connect with people excited to make changes in their lives. I want to make a minimum of $3000 a month to sustain basic living expenses for my family. I want to create a presence online. I want to put together a package that meets the needs of many people.
- Challenge 1: No money to use for gaining education on how to best build my business, Challenge 2: No time to trial and error from scratch, Challenge 3: This is a new endeavor and it is hard to reach out and trust someone with my few dollars because where I plant my seeds….they must grow

I just got home, so I hope this makes it in, although it may not. I figured I’d throw my hat into the ring anyway. You can’t win if you don’t play! I was listening to your call (which was great, thank you!) on my drive down to my parents’ house.
I hope you’re feeling better. Thank you so much for generously presenting this opportunity. I’ve been following you since Tom Buford’s telesummit and have been struck by your combination of spirituality and groundedness. It truly speaks to me and I’d love to be a part of the Client Mastery Blueprint to learn more about bringing these two aspects of myself together in my coaching practice. Many of my previous trainings are one or the other and I sometimes have difficulty being present to and honoring both sides simultaneously.
To answer your questions:
I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
I am SO ready for my business to explode!!! I want to be solidly in 6-figures (My target is $250,000 by the end of 2011.); running weekend workshops around the country; offering 90-to-120-minute workshops locally to build my name and clientele; having 2-3 products in addition to group coaching teleseminar/webinar offerings to make my work available to those who cannot work with me in person.
II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
First and foremost….ME!!! I am my own worst critic. I tend to WAY overthink things, making them harder than they need to be and I know I’m working too hard (funny…because I’m great at getting my clients to make things easier…Hahah!). I know I need to streamline, but I don’t know what and how to do that.
I haven’t had to market on my own for a long time and the last time I did I was mostly unsuccessful. I was working primarily out of a sports center up until October. I’ve had clients outside of that for a long time, but need to bring in more clients now that I’m fully on my own. I need a solid plan that works for my business and the types of clients I’m looking to attract.
I’d like to figure out how/what to offer in a teleseminar/webinar. Similarly, I have a number of ideas for 90- to 120-minute workshops or weekend workshops/retreats so I can combine my love of teaching/coaching with my love of travel. I don’t have any products or a newsletter/blog, etc. as yet. I don’t even have a website yet. I’ve gotten a lot of clients via word-of-mouth, but know I cannot rely on that method forever.
III. What are at least 3 benefits Client Master Blueprint will bring to your business and your life?
Client Mastery Blueprint will help me get more support as I make these major business decisions. I know I need help. I’ve already tried it alone several times and I’m missing something. I started a marketing teleseminar a couple months ago, but there are so many people on the calls that it’s hard to be heard or ask a question. I also have found that most of the people on the calls I’ve been on are life/relationship/personal/executive/career coaches; I’m a sports coach so a lot of their questions don’t apply to my business. My business is already somewhat successful…I just want to take it to the next level and blow it up!!
Again, I think that having the blend of intuitive/spiritual and groundedness is something that will work really well for me as far as you being a mentor. I’ve been struggling for years to bring those two aspects of myself to my business and given that I’m just starting out fully on my own, the timing’s perfect.
I’d love to have the peace of mind that comes with doing what I love, serving my clients to the best of my ability, and enjoying the life that comes with that. CMB can give me the tools to facilitate this coming from darkness into the light.
IV. Why is it that you should be chosen?
I REALLY, REALLY WANT IT! I’m ready and willing to put in the work to take my business to the moon. I’m ready to do something for ME! I spent the lion’s share of this past year volunteering in a long-term program with a non-profit to help others who can’t necessarily afford a private coach take hold of their lives and begin to make healthy changes for themselves, their families, and for the world community. Because I’ve been so focused on helping these women (the woman who started the program is a former client, now great friend), I haven’t fully focused on my own business. I wouldn’t change anything about the experience though…giving freely from my heart was an amazing thing and these women will forever be in my heart (and I in theirs). Because of that, at this time, I’m not financially in a position to pay for the program. (I’m also paying through October for the program I mentioned above…that one I would take back if I could. It wasn’t the right program for me, but I didn’t realize it until it was too late..so I did invest in myself, but just not the right investment. I would love an opportunity to re-invest).

Thank you for this opportunity! I’ve been reading your e-mails since I got signed up a few months ago, and have listened to a couple of tele-seminars. I have looked at your offerings and said to myself “this is for me”. However, I’m unfortunately in a situation where my income hasn’t allowed me to sign up. I’m 100% ready, committed and am working very hard to build my business, but feel like I’m often spinning my wheels, and need help!!!
I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
a. I want 10 great, ready-to-dive in, one-on-one clients - ongoing.
b. I want to facilitate two group coaching groups per week.
c. I want to provide an introductory/brown bag/educational seminar/talk biweekly.
d. I want to facilitate one longer workshop per month.
e. I want to set up a structure that works for me, one that allows me to do the activities listed above, and also write articles, newsletter and a blog.
I’m not putting dollar figures along with my desired results, as I feel the results above better describe my desires.

a. Getting in front of my target market for them to find out about my services. Prospects, prospects, prospects!
b. Selling without selling – offering my services in a way that prospective clients see the value and the need and “sell themselves”.
c. Knowing where to focus my time/efforts – what’s truly worth it amongst all the books, tele-seminars, classes, etc that are offered everywhere.

a. Learning new skills, tips and tricks for developing my business in the areas that I’m challenged. Skills that will get me thinking outsidet the box and ones that I can put into action immediately and that will ultimately provide the income that I feel comfortable with.
b. Being a sole proprietor, my life and my business are closely connected. I want to learn how to run my business more efficiently, which will allow me to spend valuable time away from it as well. I recently heard the expression; “when the student is ready, a teacher will appear”. Will you be my teacher?
I am ready to do what it takes to make my business a great success. This success is about creating more positive and fulfilled people with more positive energy on this earth. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
• Sufficient revenue stream to support an outstanding full time support person (or the equivalent in multiple team members) really well (~$90k/year).
• $10k/month net revenue for my own draw.
• Qualified opt-in list of 1000 people of people who are aligned with my work, my approach, my energy and are buyers of my services and products.
• Increase the number of radio shows to 25/year and, in the process, increase the size of listener base of the shows I accept bookings for.
• Successful execution/fruition of my business plan : 10-15 1:1 coaching clients/week, 1-2 VIP client days/month, sales of my audio coaching/healing products totaling at least $8k/month
• Regular and consistent referrals from clients and colleagues
• More FUN, more support, more connectedness with other change agents.
What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
• It’s been awhile since I’ve had on-going full time coaching.
Without this, I can get overwhelmed with the myriad tasks/actions necessary to create and grow a global business (taking on too many tasks simultaneously, being stretched too thin and stressed as result, not making sufficient progress with any of them and being less than optimally productive as a result of keeping too many plates spinning. I’ve gotten better with this since your half-day event where you shared that you have only 3 goals at a given time. Still, it’s an on-going challenge to stay focused on those 3 things and calendar everything else. I believe my offerings could be much more irresistible.
• Need to revise my target market and marketing for my 1:1 coaching. Much of my target market can’t afford 1:1 coaching. My conversion rate is quite high if the client has any money at all available after basic needs expenses. I’ve been developing products they can afford, however I really love and excel at 1:1 coaching so I’d like to create a marketing strategy to reach a new target market that isn’t struggling financially, prioritizes investing in themselves, is highly leveraged to grow, transform, fulfill their soul’s purpose, and increase their most authentic and masterful life.
• TRAFFIC!! Online from enough ideal prospects to get lift-off and critical mass. I know my tribe is out there! I sense them, I feel their pain, but most of them aren’t finding me YET; I’ve mapped out a strategy (and am open to input!) that will allow me to get in front of them and for them to find me. I need a new team and great coaching to execute this.

Having the income to send my daughter (who has a HUGE purpose and is here to make a significant contribution to the world) to the college that’s best for her rather than the college I can afford.
Why is it that you should be chosen?
There are 3 aspects to the answer to this question:
First is the degree of fit or like-mindedness between your approach, your offerings, your team, your mission, your energy, and mine. I feel there is an exceptionally high degree of fit and like-mindedness. From the first time I experienced you present to North Bay Coaches, I felt a deep resonance with the way you work. I signed up on the spot without a moment of hesitation for your 1-day workshop last April in order to work with you and to have an opportunity to spend a whole day with the WaveMaker because I act on the intention to eliminate as many of my internal obstacles as possible. As you may recall from the video testimonial I gave at the end of that day, it was a transformative experience for me. In the year since, I attended your half-day event, your Time Masters Telesummit, and several of your individual teleseminars. I would’ve attended your Big Shift event, but I had a schedule conflict. So, the third aspect of the answer to “why choose me” has to do with the fact that I’m not wanting this just for myself. I doubt I’d be writing this if it were just for me. The concept and development of this business, Money*Mission*Mastery, has come to me through guidance; it’s not an idea or a strategy of my ego. I put aside my first business as a green architect because I accept that I’m an agent of the divine -a change agent. I‘ve been shown a huge vision of how I can contribute to the massive shifts and healing that humanity must now complete. I’ve invested my entire stock portfolio and savings into this business - that should say something about how strongly I believe in what I’m doing and the degree to which I accept the responsibility I’ve been charged with. I have invested so much of myself as well. I feel I’m so close to getting real lift-off! I’m applying here for a bit of grace to move this vision along because of the huge time imperative that’s communicated by Spirit to get this work out to as many people across the globe as soon as possible. People are suffering in ways that I understand and know how to address. I have overcome so much in my life (another essay in itself), have 20+ years of spiritual, psychological and intuitive training and, as a result, I am able to hold a client’s experience however traumatic, painful, or difficult. I‘ve developed powerful and graceful methods to guide them rapidly out of their suffering and into healing, transformation, fulfilling their purpose and living a full, authentic and masterful life. My methods really work. Clients transform rapidly, significantly, and permanently.

I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
1) I’d like to have an e-book for sale on my site
2) I’d like to have ten times the number of social networking followers

II. What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
1) Time management - I’m juggling several priorities like continuing my job search while I build content on my site, freelance write, and begin to set up a practice in a new city.
2) Lack of strategy - I could really use a savvy business coach to help me come up with product marketing and branding.
3) Personal - I lost my closest relative about 7 months ago in a tragic accident. My brother was super bright and always guided me. He strongly believed in my vision for a green/wellness site and online community. He was running a successful growing hedge fund when he died in his 40s. I am struggling to stay positive in this time.
4) Lack of product development - I don’t have a product for sale yet and have been unclear on what exactly to offer at this time. I need help developing it. I relocated/came back to SF in the fall last year, and the financial climate intimidates me from putting myself out there. Yet my background includes health communications, coaching, yoga teaching, weight management, nutrition counseling, working with healthy food brands, and writing for huge yoga brands. I would love to have my own business and use this background to my advantage.

-SUPPORTIVE ALLY RELATIONSHIPS- I need support in the realm of business and find that having the reflection within supportive relationships give me a context for facing the challenges and building the confidence to move forward. When I don’t have someone who knows what my goals are or someone to talk through my challenges with, it is easier to fall into self doubt and not follow through.
-FINANCIAL RESOURCES- I don’t have the money to invest in getting the support, growing a skill set and strategic system that will help me translate my hearts gifts into serving clients and receiving energy/money to support myself.
-EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES AND SYSTEMS- I don’t have the tools, strategies and systems that give me a clear pathway for realizing my goals. MY MOTIVATION
I am at a turning point right now with a vibrant fire in me for truly stepping into my creative power and burning through that which has blocked me from truly bringing forth my heart into the world. I recently faced some old ancestral shame that I had been carrying from the past that had dampened my life force and led me to keeping myself small in various ways. As I looked into the roots of this shame there was a fire unleashed in me, a fire that is calling me to stand up in my full power and bring my hearts gifts into the world in full force. My core motivating force in life is to be of service, to contribute to people’s lives through how I am with them.
I see this being a time of accelerated change, a time where we are being called to come together, to truly join our gifts and collaborate to create a sustainable compassionate way to live on this earth together. My heart is tender with how moved I am, from the depths of my being, to support people in discovering what their gifts s are and coming together from the heart.
Some of my greatest joy comes in moments when supporting someone and being present to an “ah ha” and the expansion and illumination when they have an insight that shifts their perception of life and connects them with their authentic self.
FINANCIAL NEED
I currently see no way that I could participate in this program without a scholarship. I am living on the last of my available credit this month and have exhausted support from family. This is the time for change.

Hi, Bill. I hope you are holding up well reading through all of the applications. I want to express first why I should be chosen for the scholarship and then follow up with the details regarding the results I want, the challenges I face, and the benefits the Client Mastery Blueprint program will provide. I appreciate your time and consideration.
I have known financial success in the traditional “worldly” way by practicing law for 11 years. Earning that money, however, came with a high price. One that became too high. Although the physical and emotional consequences of working in a demanding career that was not my ultimate purpose provided the needed nudge to let go, the choice to leave the practice of law a year ago ultimately came from a much deeper place. Although it was extremely frightening to make such a choice, I could no longer ignore or put off the call to start living what I felt inspired to teach others.
With no income, I used all of my savings this past year to continue meeting my obligations. Currently, I find myself in the position each month of not knowing whether I will have enough money to meet my obligations. While I in no way intend to live under these circumstances long term, I know there is some divine design in my being in this situation at this time. I have learned a great deal about letting go and trusting, and I have most certainly learned about who I truly am (which is true power, unlike what the world often recognizes as power). I am also learning to reach out and ask for help, which is unfamiliar and sometimes uncomfortable for me, but filled with lessons.
Ironically, in many ways, I have never been happier even though being broke has always been one of my worst fears. Despite this deep sense of peace and happiness, being financially insecure does create stress and expends valuable energy that could be put to so much better use. I have always wanted to not worry about meeting my mortal needs so I could feel free to serve and enjoy all that this life has to offer. You posed the question today about what freedom means to me. Although freedom means many things, the freedom I desire most is to not worry about having enough money to live so that I feel free to serve and pursue whatever calls me.
This is where you, my friend, come into the picture. You possess the knowledge and the gifts that will help me reach my tribe. In a nutshell, my tribe are those that know the pain of carrying around an unexpressed purpose. Those that imagine a life they feel they were meant to live, but don’t know how to create it. My message is, don’t wait for the life you imagine . . . create it. Start a resolyoutionTM (the name of my business). A resolyoution is the process of remembering • loving • living • and giving the true you, who knows exactly how to create the life you imagine. As a fulfillment coach, I have the gift of seeing who you truly are, and I hold that vision for you until you see and hold it for yourself.
The results I want for my business in 12 months are to be comfortably providing for my mortal needs by coaching people motivated to create the life they imagine. I believe we imagine a certain life for a reason – it’s the longing of our soul. As Joseph Joubert said, “Imagination is the eye of the soul.” The life we imagine feels joyful and fulfilling because it is the life we would enjoy if we fulfilled our purpose on this earth, which fulfilling our purpose is the key to experiencing lasting joy and fulfillment.
I realize the desired results I expressed are more on the 1,000 foot level; however, this is simply because I am not tied to the specific details of accomplishing my purpose. I am clear that I need to provide and care for my needs while I fulfill my purpose of helping others remember who they are and what they came here for, but I trust that the specifics will exceed anything I can imagine in this moment. Without limiting the possibilities, at this moment I imagine wanting to coach, teach and speak to couples, individuals and groups with work hours that are flexible. I imagine I will be making $300,000-$500,000 and live in a beautiful space with the financial ability and time to reach out and help others in ways I feel inspired.
Although fear has been a challenge in the past, in the course of facing most of my worst fears, I am now prepared to serve. The biggest challenge I face at this moment is not having the marketing knowledge, not knowing how to get myself “out there” and communicate my value to attract clients who can benefit from my gifts. Related to that challenge, is not having the money to sign up for your Client Mastery Blueprint program. I did not apply for the last scholarship you offered out of integrity because I knew I wasn’t ready at that time to really apply with full force and passion all that you have to offer. Now, I am ready! I have been prepared, and I truly and legitimately have the financial need.
The benefits I will realize from being a part of your program are life changing. Most importantly, I know I will be able to create the life I imagine by providing for my own needs while meeting the needs of those I am called to serve. Dear Bill,
I need guidance creating products and marketing them. I am missing the basic tier in my business. I have one-one clients, CDs for sale and I offer classes. Word of mouth works great for me, and I pick up clients from my website, where I also blog. I want to create programs to support people by tele-conference or a web-telephone combination.
What gets in my way is my lack of what I will call barefoot intuitiveness for making products and marketing them. When a client presents, I know, without knowing how I know, where to start. When I go to create a product, my brain goes into over think. I have studied and worked hard and many pieces are in place, I need mentoring in putting them together in way that will attract my ideal clients.
It feels like I am in the kitchen, I am hungry, and I have everything I need; what is missing is my confidence in where to start.
Benefits: I have the ability to help a lot more people feel better, and I am not living up to that potential. I will not rest, nor will I be happy until I do. As a single parent, I raised two girls, sans child support, or a family for childcare, or to pick up the pieces. Money was tight. The oldest one has graduated from college and the youngest one is going into her senior year. I have broken some patterns in my family and the next one on my list is to make finances fun! I want to be a kick-ass example of this for my girls!

Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the chance to win a scholarship to Client Mastery Blueprint.
Results I hope to see in the next 12 months would be to get three new museum gift shop clients; expand my on-line presence by offering to sell my jewelry on-line; and start a business offering coaching to artists.
The biggest challenge I face is accomplishing challenging goals while maintaining health and balance in other areas of my life. Another challenge is understanding and implementing a strategy for working with clients that are too far away for me to visit personally. When I meet with clients face to face i seem to be blessed with easily getting new clients. In situations where the client is far away, I have many obstacles to selling them my jewelry. The final challenge is not having any formal training in running a coaching business. I have several years of applicable Human Resources career counseling experience, a large potential contact list and the experience of running a success business in the arts to draw from.
I feel called to help others achieve their goals and dreams. I meet many creative people who, for many reasons, lack the ability to clarify what they would like to do with their artistic abilities or how to sell their art. Many people already look to me for guidance but I would like to offer my talents in a more formal structure possibly offering sessions to local non-profit art groups and schools.

I. What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
After over 20 years as a consultant and project manager serving government, business and community executive leadership ~ who has been blessed with fascinating projects and clients that I love ~ I put blood, sweat and a few tears into writing a solid business plan that focused on a third line of business based on a interpersonal communication skills curriculum I wrote. This line of business, “Peace & Nonviolence Communication (P&NVC) Training, Design and Support” is designed to empower people in the business AND personal life.
The curriculum was market tested for two years (2008 and 2009) by presenting 14 trainings with great evaluations. And thus January 2010 marked the start-up and development year of re-launching my practice under ConsultingStrategist.com, with new product roll out of “P&NVC Leadership Seminars, Skill-building Workshops, and Individual coaching” line of business. Thus, we have conducted new product roll out by delivering four open-enrollment seminars in March, May and June that turned a profit, with hot prospects for booking organizational trainings projected for August and September 2010.
In 12 months it will by July 2011. And, according to my business plan ‘road map,’ I want to be at least half way to the six-figure cash flow and sales projections for just the P&NVC line of business for the year 2011, which will be the first fully operational year for ConsultingStrategist.com.
That means we will have completed:
1. New product roll out and final construction of the website
2. Hired identified support and training staff as employees
3. Brought together our 12 member Executive Advisory Board members for a retreat
4. Thanked our client and business partner tribe with a celebration event that’s being planned for January 2011

The biggest challenge I have is getting back on my plan (after being taken off my plan by a consultant I hired) for capitalizing my venture with corporate partners, which is in progress.
Another challenge I have is I need to take part in an affirming EXPERT group who will support the beautiful vision that I have for ConsultingStrategist.com ~ which is high and deep, and inspired by my life’s purpose to be an entrepreneurial peacemaker in the world.

In 2007, I went on stress-related health disability (where my doctors even suspected I had breast cancer and uterine cancer, which I thankfully do not have). The good news is that this disability experience actually fueled my passion for developing the Peace & Nonviolence Communication new line of business.

My disability income ran out in March 2010 when I planned to have my corporate partners in place already, which is a major financial stress. In order to address the needs for peace and nonviolence, on a micro level, the firm conducts this work by providing Peace & Nonviolence Communications (P&NVC)SM Training, Design and Support, in order to cultivate interpersonal peace and nonviolence via communications skills that empower business and personal relationships. And on macro level, the firm identifies strategic peace and nonviolence policy, business and community engagement opportunities, such as a special project proposal that will be presented to interested government, business and community partners on July 12, 2010.

First of all, along with the other scholarship applicants, I wish to thank you for this incredible opportunity. What you are offering is truly the “gift of a new life,” and I know that whomever you select will take full advantage of the Client Mastery Blueprint program. I know that I would.
My goal is to create a lucrative and professionally fulfilling proposal writing and editing consulting business, working with clients whom I respect and who respect me. For the past 40 years, I have been a successful fundraiser and grant writer for educational institutions (two research universities, one private college, and two independent schools) and, most recently, I was a senior program officer for a major private foundation, overseeing its grant-making programs for education. For a variety of reasons, it was in my best interest to take early retirement, but this decision has come at a considerable financial cost. I am confident that I have the knowledge, skills and reputation to start a profitable (and meaningful) consulting business. What I lack is the entrepreneurial skill-set that the Client Mastery Blueprint program offers.
• What specific results do you want for your business in 12 months?
By the end of your Client Mastery Program (12/10), I expect to have a clear vision for my consulting business, a viable (written) business plan and timetable for implementation in 2011 (if not earlier). I already have a network of college and university colleagues with whom I have worked in the past and who know and respect my work. These would be the first people I would approach, once my business model is in place. BUT, in order to present my services and myself appropriately, I need to develop a tier of services and “packages” that are at the right price point to be attractive to them and profitable for me. This is one of the many aspects of your program that I find compelling. I’m excited about the “Big Shift” workshop you’ve scheduled for February 2011 that would give me the chance to meet you and my fellow coaching members and to spur further, specific actions into the new year.
• What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?
I’ve never worked as a full-time consultant before (did a little one-on-one grant editing a number of years ago, but that isn’t the same as starting a “stand-alone” business). I’ve always had a salaried professional position and implementing a business-of-one is intimidating.
I also have difficulty in prioritizing tasks and time management, especially since the nature of my work has always involved juggling many projects at once, most with the same deadline. This, in turn, leads to high stress levels and problems in concentrating on the task as hand, since there’s a long list of competing “to do’s”. Nonetheless, I’ve always completed my work on schedule, but it comes at an emotional and physical cost. Your program offers techniques to help me overcome these obstacles to my success. This alone would be a godsend.
Lastly, I fear that I may have waited too long to launch my business (I “retired” last year), but I want to do this right. I made recent contact with a professional colleague who assured me that there is a need for my specific talents (not generic skills, MY skills). Never has competition for grant dollars been keener. At the same time, colleges and universities are cutting staff, including the very development professionals they need to secure needed funds. Outsourcing this work makes financial sense because they wouldn’t be responsible for fulltime employees’ salaries with associated benefits. I need to bring myself into this market - the sooner, the better. The time is right, but I need to prepare myself to take full advantage of it. The Client Mastery Blueprint program would give me this needed knowledge, preparation, coaching and encouragement.
• What are at least 3 benefits of Client Mastery Blueprint will bring to your business and your life?
Hmmm. Where should I start? Regarding what the program would bring to my business, I’ve already mentioned the content offered in Modules One, Two and Seven as being very beneficial (defining and communicating my niche; designing and packaging my services; and time mastery). To this, I would add creating a professional, clearly, cleanly laid-out website (Module 5) that communicates the bottom-line value I would add to any non-profits’ grant-seeking activities. Although my prior work has been for educational institutions, the proposal development process is the same, whether it’s a children’s hospital seeking foundation support for a new wing, or a small town government seeking state funding for a youth development program.
I’d also benefit from your module on Referrals and Word of Mouth. To my mind, this is the “bread and butter” of a successful business. Nothing communicates your worth better than a personal reference, someone who has experienced first-hand what you can deliver.
What the program would bring to my life is what I referred to at the beginning of this application: a new one. I know that I’m never going to have what I had and, frankly, I don’t want it. Yes, I could apply for another development position, maybe a foundation job, but at this stage in my life (early retirement should tell you something!), I don’t want to waste my life energy with office politics, the stress of preparing for yet another board meeting, or driving around in the middle of the night (in a snow storm, yet!), trying to find a motel in a remote rural area, so I could make a college site visit the next morning.
What I DO love and what I do best is to use my creative intellect and natural communication skills to work with individuals or project teams to turn their ideas (and dreams) into reality through the power of the written word. I thrive on the creative interchange of ideas, strategies, approaches, etc., and the people I’ve been privileged to work with have told me that they thrive, too. Not every proposal is successful, of course. But I truly believe that when we’re done with a proposal, it’s the very best that it can be. It presents their case in the most powerful and convincing way possible, given deadline constraints. I want to continue this inspiring work and to help more people and institutions bring their dreams to fruition.
• Why is it that you should be chosen?
Why me, indeed? Because you have what I need and want, and I can’t afford it, like everyone else who is applying for this scholarship, God bless them all. I’m in the process of moving to a smaller community because I need to (although, it’s also been my dream for over 20 years). I’m moving because I can’t pay the mortgage unless I rent out my current house. My wonderful, loving husband (a master trim carpenter) has been without work for over a year - another victim of the housing collapse - and he’s at the end of his unemployment benefits (and his metaphorical rope). We’re both hoping that this move will open more opportunities for him – and for me. Thus far, I’ve been the primary breadwinner and I need to continue to be, until my husband can become established in his own business (if the building trade will EVER turn around).
In the meanwhile, here’s what I can promise you in return for this scholarship opportunity:
I promise you that I have the professional skills and knowledge to make my business work, if I’m fortunate enough to receive this scholarship and reap the benefits of your program. My strengths include:

On a personal level, despite my flaws of perfectionism and time management, I’m tenacious and I have perseverance. I see things through to completion, no matter what. I promise that I will dedicate myself to fulfilling the requirements of your program, should I be granted this scholarship. I offer a couple of examples. I completed both my master’s and my doctoral degrees while working full-time as a development professional, first at Georgia State, then at Emory University in Atlanta. I wrote my dissertation in six months between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m. because that was all the time that was available to me (I had to be at work at 8:00). My dissertation was 250 pages long, and it was not slip-shod (esoteric, yes; slip-shod, no). I was proud of what I accomplished (even prouder that I’ll never have to do it again!) I graduated from both programs with no student debt, paying my way as I went, even if it took me longer and was harder to do. I’ve never shied away from hard work if it’s meaningful.
Here’s what I hope to add to your group of creative business owners, if I’m selected as one of your “tribe.” I will be a fully engaged and contributing member. I will complete the assignments on schedule (even if it’s 3:00 a.m.). I would be happy - no, honored - to be a “third eye” on any marketing or other writing materials that your clients might wish to share with me. (I know that Patrick is your marketing guru, and I had the pleasure of speaking with him a couple of weeks ago when I first talked to him about this program. Thanks, Patrick. And now, in case you haven’t made your decision quite yet, here’s a little bit about me, to help you … This may fall under the category of your fourth question: Why choose me?
About a year ago, I lost my job. After hanging out in a “what the heck am I going to do” limbo for a while, resulting in things getting more and more desperate, I decided to re-begin a business that I had had years ago, and that I know how to do, and actually enjoy. (I don’t know how to market it, but I know how to do it) And that is being a children’s entertainer. Otherwise known as being a professional female clown. …Yes, you are talking to a clown right now. See? You never know who you are going to run into on the street. Or in a blog.
So I am once again a professional clown, but have had trouble marketing my business here ( a different area from which I used to have my business, where people had gotten to know me for years, and I was able to make a decent living ). So unfortunately, the last 6-8 months have not been as profitable as I would like, and I have only been able to meet approximately 70%-80% or so of my bills monthly. This is sometimes scary, but I know it will all be OK.
But the real reason I am writing in response to your offer is not so that I can take my clown business “global!”, or be the “Best Clown Worldwide!!”, but rather so that I can take this business to a level where it can not only make lots of children happy, but also help me to support my other passions, which are healing, coaching, and helping people to live their dreams, and be happy and fulfilled in their lives. These are my most passionate of passions, if that can be a phrase.
And so even though I do healing and coaching now, and have started a women’s group dedicated to everyone getting support in various ways for reaching their highest potential, I have run into some stumbling blocks that I would love to get past.
These are some of them: (What are the 2-3 biggest challenges stopping you from getting the results you want?)
1)I have found it difficult to effectively market my skills and services.
2)It has been incredibly uncomfortable for me to ask people to actually pay money for these, instead of me offering them for free.
3)I do not feel computer or website savvy in the least, and feel lost when it comes to marketing myself online.
4)Once I get a client to experience what I offer, I have a high retention rate, but getting them to come in the first place, even if they’ve reached out and called me, apparently is not my forte.
5)The lack of prosperity that has resulted from all of these has prompted fear in me of taking courses to learn other skills that I very much want to offer to the public, because part of me says, well, if I am not able to market the skills I am already good at, what chance do I have of marketing new skills? And so I feel frustrated that I am not living MY life to it’s fullest potential.
So what are specific results that I would want for my business in the next 12 months?
1)I want to be creating and supporting network upon networks of women, and people in general, who are supporting each other in manifesting their dreams, and living their best lives.
2)I want to have my entertainment business be profitable enough for me to meet all of my needs, and also allow me to have the funding to attend classes and take courses furthering my knowledge of holistic healing, both physical and spiritual, as well as coaching.
3)I would like to have fabulous websites for both businesses, that will attract customers locally for their child’s party, and internationally for themselves, and their own mental, physical, and spiritual well being.
4)I would like to have the knowledge of how to effectively market any skill or service I choose, in the quickest and farthest reaching methods possible.
And how will your course help? ( What are at least 3 benefits Client Master Blueprint will bring to your business and your life? )
1)It sounds like your Client Mastery Blueprint will help me to better articulate what I do, and therefore attract more clients.
2)Hopefully it will teach me how to become more comfortable actually charging money! (And talking to clients about prices and packages…)
3)And it sounds like your course will enable me to market myself on the internet, in ways that I can’t even imagine right now, which will be wonderful!! I can’t wait to feel at ease on the web, knowing exactly where to go and exactly what to do to let people know about what I can help them with.
4)And lastly, I feel that your course will enable me to help way, way more people than I can possibly reach without your help, which is of course, the most important thing.
